Like she said I think it's like that too.
It is expensive. Have Mac try foundation on you before you buy it,And see how it works for your skin, because everyone's skin is different.
I use powder bc it absorbs oils on my skin. And I use Mac powder.

    Hope it helps.

I totally agree, it seems like people are either ALL about MAC and are die hard on MAC or they are like "MAC is ok, but I use a lot of other brands too". For me personally all I knew starting out getting into make-up was that MAC was a high end brand, but since doing a lot of research I've expanded my knowledge and find myself A LOT happier and more at home in a Sephora than at a MAC counter. I think MAC is great for eye shadows and they have some high quality brushes, but I find their foundations to just be too heavy for me and I've had only one very positive experience with a girl working at MAC counter.

I won't deny that MAC makes some great products, but there are a lot of other high end quality products out there that are just as good if not better in some area's. MUFE has an excellent line of make up that is used in television, fashion, photography, etc... I've tried so many different foundations and I absolutely LOVE MUFE foundation, it's light but gives great coverage and looks awesome not just in person but in photos. I also use the Smashbox photo finish primer and love that stuff. There are lots of options out there. The best thing for people to do is go out and try some stuff out, but if you want brand variety head to a Sephora chances are the girls will be a lot more friendly to you than the girls at the MAC counter.

I love all different products out there, and i'm willing to try anything. But my favorite line hands-down is MAC. They have something for everyone, and you cant escape them. Everytime you turn on your tv, open a magazine, watch a movie or just observe the public around you, I promise you you're seeing MAC makeup. Every artist on every gig i've ever done has SOMETHING MAC in their kit. And I personally believe they have a foundation for every person, every skin color, every skin type. You just need to figure out what you want your foundation to do for you.

I have both MAC and MUFE foundations. MAC can cause really bad breakouts. Both provide excellent coverage. Because of the price I would have to say neither. In my opinion Graftobian foundations are better than both and it only cost around $9.00.

I have tried every MAC foundation, and all of them have made me break out, and the shades are either to pink or to yellow based for me.
My HG foundation is MUFE Face and Body foundation in #20. I am NC15 in MAC, and this matches me perfectly. It has beige undertones, which MAC does not.
MUFE has more shades to offer, which will help you recieve perfect color matched foundation.

All in all, MUFE may be more expensive, but it's totally worth the money : )
