What acne treatments really work?

I haven't broke out this badly in a long time and I have prom just around the corner I have a prescription I've been using that works somewhat but it dries my skin out and makes it peel (gross). I want to know if there's anything I can do to clear it up quickly. Thanks a lot!

I use ZapZit from Walgreens. Also, a trick I learned in Modeling School, soak cotton balls in Visine, put them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer just long enough to get them cold then hold the cotton ball(s) on each pimple for 5 minutes, it will take the redness away just like it "gets the red out" of your eyes!

If you can go to the doctors have them prescribe you doxcyline it will clear your face up and even better if you can stomach the birth control pill ortho nova it will not only clear your skin up but actually makes it have a healthy glow it will make your skin look great but some people throw up from taking it.

Find products with salicylic acid in it .

Salicylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, and Tea Tree Oil all work well. You can find these basics at any drugstore.
Look for high concentrations of these in products (within the first half of the ingredients list).
However, be sure to use a rich moisturizer after.

try dove soap it works 4 me & i got told by a doctor to use it & i have been using it 4 months, it might not work right away but it will it takes time believe me i have tried everything
