What is a good lightweight foundation from MAC? I like a flawless look but not a heavy feel or heavily makeuped look ( I usually wear Clinique Perfectly Real Liquid, Covergirl Tinted Moisturizer (with loose powder over) or L'Oreal Mineral makeup.

I actually suggest you go to Sephora, and look at THIER brand, I prefer thicker, heavier foundation, but they have good leightweight!!!

MAC is the best. The new sculpt is probably thicker than you want, but it's nice. The Studio Fix foundation is medium coverage, if you have dry skin try the mineralize foundation. Grab a Studio Finish concealer too. Go check out a counter and they will do your face for you!! You will look great! Also if things ever get cakey, just use a tiny bit of moisturizer to even it out in those areas.
i use studio tech & apply with a foundation brush...it looks creamy in the compact but it reminds of a mousse foundation. its feels light on ur skin & i ALWAYS get compliments on my makeup..i set with a loose power. I am license esthetician & makeup artist and have my own website! check it out!

hey, I use mac mineralized powder fondation, u control the coverage but you get that flawless look and its all minerals so its better for your skin.
Hey, I use MAC Face & Body, it is a very liquidy foundation, but it is extremely light and gives a flawless finish. I believe you can purchase that at MAC Pro stores.
At the moment the liquid mineralize is the sheerest coverage MAC has at their counters...it's very pretty and gives you a nice radiant look. If you go to an actual MAC store the face and body has a very light/natural coverage. BUT they just introduced a new tinted moisturizer that are in neutral skin shades, it drenches your skin in emollients and gives it a glow, barely any coverage though.
Hold the phone!! Okay the sheerest foundation mac makes is the Studio Tint Spf 15 which is the tinted moisturizer. OR if you want an actual foundation not a tinted moisturizer, use Select Spf 15. It is the lightest foundation(sheer, but can be built up to a medium coverage if you want) and gives a flawless natural/matte finish. Set either with Select Sheer Pressed Powder or Minerialize Skinfinish Pressed Powder.
MAC discontinued Studio Tint Spf 15 a few months ago. They introduced Studio Moisture Tint Spf 15 to replace it. Mineralize Satinfinish Spf 15 has less coverage than Select Spf 15 foundation, which is a medium + buildable coverage. Also, like I said in the previous posting the face & body foundation [that's only available at a store not a counter] is a little bit more coverage than the studio moisture tint but is the sheerest actual foundation.
So
studio moisture tint spf 15 = sheerest
face and body = 2nd [but only at a store]
mineralize satinfinish spf 15 = sheerest foundation at a counter aside from the moisture tint
I'm afraid to admit you are mistaken, Mineralize satin finish does not have less coverage than Select Spf 15, they are BOTH sheer to medium coverage. Mineralize appears to be more natural to the eye because it contains 77 minerals and is a natural satin finish. But they are actually the same coverage.
I'm assuming you work for MAC. So do I. In which case you should take a look at your foundation portfolio. Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 is a sheer medium coverage. Select SPF 15 is medium.
I would recommend Mac's Mineralize satinfinish foundatio with Spf. It gives a lovely dewy look
is mac really that good i have really peal skin n on top of that i have alot of freckles n i always been looking for something that will make me look really pretty you think is mac that i should get ??
Hun, just head to a counter and try some on and wear it around all day and see how you feel. It's worth it to try it. I work for MAC, but I don't wear the foundation because my skin is really oily, but I do use the concealer. Head down to a counter or store and tell them what you want to cover and how much weight you can handle on your face. You can try different ones. That's the best way to do it.
Good luck!
