PLEASE HELP! i need a new foundation which covers well

hey everyone, i hope you can help me!
i want a new foundation which covers everything!
including freckles and blemishes but i want the foundation to look natural without looking cakey or obvious im wearing make up.
i use MAC studio fix NC20 and i love it, it suits my skin tone however it does not cover as well as i would like it to without packing it on and that makes the foundation become a different colour to my neck and looks really bad. is there anything that will cover better and which MAC brush can give a better coverage or an airbrushed effect. thank you so much!

What brush are you using? You can also put moisturizer on top of the spots you feel are cakey and it will even it out. Use the 187 brush, it's the air brush brush. I work for MAC. Maybe you need a new color. What color are your veins in your wrist? I am a NC15, NC20 girl myself. I like the sculpt now too. Are you using concealer?

im using a proper MAC brush its the rounded yet flat im pretty sure its a normal foundation applier. i normally use foundation and then MAC primer and then the mac but it just doesnt hide my blemishes and other problems like my freckles which i dont have many of they are pretty faint and only on my nose area inclluding abit of my cheeks although its nothing drastic. the colour fits my skin tone verry well but i find if i put too much u can tell im wearing quite abit of make up. my veins on my wrists are blue and i am using concealer although i put it over my MAC where its needed mostly on my nose and abit on my cheaks bt it makes it look alot flawless and the concealer is matte mouse from maybelline i think

Put your concealer on first. Under your eyes and all the other areas you want covered. I use MAC concealer. Either the Select cover up or the sculpt one. It's new. I like the sculpt foundation as well. The 187 is a brush that gives the air brush affect. I use that one. I have both though. I wish I could come over and do your makeup lol! You can still use the moisturizer over your foundation to even it out. It will make it less cakey, but if coverage is what you are worried about I would try a stronger concealer. I don't imagine the maybelline is a great cover up. At least from my experience. I hear you though as far as freckles and such. I have red undertones and have to cover them up. If your veins are blue you should use the NW. I thought my veins were blue though and they are green so I need the yellow in the NC to balance out my redness. Go check out a counter. You might as well go and tell them what you are struggling with. They will be able to help you there. MAC is great!!

the reason i put the concealer on top of my MAC is that i find it gives a better coverage on my freckes and such. ive tried putting concealer on first but i find that applying the MAC on top actually wears it out. ohh yes! i think ive seen that one, does it have white brissles with black on the end or something ? and its a bigg brush pretty muchh round ? also i use the mabelline concealer which is the matte mouse because it looks very soft and almost airbushed but i dont want two different tones i just want an even coverage. im sure they are blue :s i have no idea to be honest but when i first bought MAC they tested me for my right colour and i have a yelllow skin tone when i tan its golden not so much with a red tinge but at the moment since its winter ive lost some colour. i find MAC really good, its my favourite foundation i just need a good coverage without it being noticable. so the MAC i have now, if i apply too much u can tell theres a difference i want to be able to put enough on to match my skin tone which it usually does but also get the best coverage and natural flawless skin. my skin tone on my face is abit blodgey too so do you suggest anything that might help even my skin tone on my face so i can apply a minimal amount of MAC and a small bit of concealer on just my freackles?

Dior's New Foundation Line, called Nude I think, are really good for coverage. But in the summer, it's better to use a tinted moisturizer like Clinique's Tinted Moisture, and then use a concealer just where it's needed. Shiseido's Concealer is amazing, it has amazing coverage, and is thick like others, but the difference is when you step back, it doesnt LOOK heavy, which is so important! amazing stuff!~

Hey sorry I didn't get back to you...I'm preggers. Ya I do have my own business with makeup. Which concealers have you tried? Personally I don't think you should try and hide your freckles anyway. =) Oh yeah do you have any pictures of yourself without makeup on or with or heck both?

i only started using concealers but i use just the matte mousse from maybeline
yeh thats true, they arent exactly bad anyway jsut very faint and only a little on my cheeks bt closer to my nose but i feel more confident without them. umm i will take photos as soon as possible

Try and use Elizabeth Ardens Flawless Finish Cream makeup. I work for the company. It is buildable. You can choose to have a light coverage and work it heavier if you need to. To give it a nice glow put Benifits high beam on top to give you a beautiful glow to your skin around the cheekbone and eye area. I like Mac's airbrush foundation but for a change of pace try Diors, it gives a beautiful finish.

I would try Dior's Airflash. It creates a flawless complection but look's natural. The price is up there but it is worth it ($60). I have also come across sally hansens natural line that has a spray foundation. I have not used it yet but I have heard that it is awesome. It's also much cheaper (around $14). Dior's coverage can cover a tattoo, it's not waterproof or nontransferable but it is not complicated. Come's in 5 or 6 color's and believe me there will be one for you. Some how they alway's work. Just make sure you go to a dior counter to get a match.

you should try Make up Forever's HD Invisible foundation. My friend got the CHicken Pox recently and has scars on her face from it and the foundation covers surprisingly well for a liquid and doesnt look too cakey. Just go to Sephora and ask them to match ur skin color. They will put it on you and if u like the coverage good,if you don't,no money wasted. It's worth a shot! Good Luck!
