120 palette eyeshadow

I've seen a few companies online advertising 120 palette eyeshadows and I've also come across a ton that are on ebay. I've been tempted to buy one, but I'm a little aprehensive at the thought of spending over $20 on eyeshadow that I cannot test ahead of time. Just wondering if anyone else has tried them before.

I have this palette and I have to say...dont hesitate! Most of the pigments are amazing and strong. You get a few that dont apply well at all and are...well...rubbish, but I think that counts for about 3 of them. There are 3 different types of Black in it and they are all comparable to MAC's Carbon and Black tied (just a fraction of the price). I have a couple of pics posted that use the palette on here, plus, if you go to my Youtube page (link at the bottom) I use it in loads of my tutorials.

Another idea is to type "120 Palette" into Youtube and there are loads of reviews out there. All good I think!!!

What company is your 120 palette?

The ones I've seen didn't work very well at all. A have a friend who bought one and the colour rarely shows very strong. I think a review or the brand is critical when ordering online.

I don't see a brand listed on it. I just bid and won on one last night. It just says Pro 120 Full Color Eyeshadow Palette + brush

Get it on ebay! It's less expensive than coastal scents pallettes! I bought my 88 palette on ebay for $10! Total of $12 with shipping and handling.

They work VERY well. They are just as highly pigmented as MAC!

okay when you say highly pigmented.. do you mean they wont be as bright when on.....

she means it IS pigmented, it will be bright even when you swatch it, as bright as when you see it in the little pot

I have one and I think it was amazing! The colors are vibrant, some can be a bit chulky! I do alot of my creative work with this palette. And doesn't hurt to have a eyeshadow primer to make the colors pop more!

Also Coastal Scents has amazing palettes also

yeah i like the 88 palette, it has good pigmentation. but i dont like the black either, it isnt really black, especially the shimmer 88 palette, its more like a grey-black with some shimmer

Mine says "Manly 120 Palette" on the front so I guess the brand is Manly. Costal scents palettes are meant to be amazing too (I havent got one but from everything I have heard), just a bit more expensive.

I will say that some of the colours are rubbish and should be ignored from the beginning but most of the colours are amazing and have great pigmentation. I think that some of the colours in there are actually better then MAC colours!

I have the 120 palette and the 180 palette and they're both from a company called 'Manly', from Hong Kong I think.
They're both amazing and cheap for what they are. I highly recommend them. Like Makeupstyles said, a couple of them are comparable to MAC, and some are even better.
