What is the best Red Lipstick!

Okay So I am looking for the best red lipstick! I mean strong matte red lipstick, I have a max factor one which is good but a little dark and a lancome one i find a tad to orange! I want red! strong red! Cmon guys help me out

I picked two tubes of Dior Addict lipstick when I was in Europe.
I bought a very sexy red, and then a frosty pink.
I can't remember the names for the life of me, but the red shade was
absolutely stunning. I always got complimented. So maybe check out the Dior website or look around in Sephora? It's expensive, but you definately get a bang for your buck.

If you're looking for a more luscious pout, you could try a lip stain, and then a gloss overtop. I got a red lip stain and a gloss from The Body Shop, and I love the way they look together. The colour lasts long, as well.

Tough question--our favorite reds may not be right for you. But I LOVE Revlon's Cherries in the Snow. It exudes RED. Texture is "super lustrous," not matte, but but you can't beat it for pure redness....

I love Viva Glam 1 and Russian Red by MAC. Viva Glam is a little bit deeper rather then a true red, but amazing on just about any lip, and Russian Red is a perfect classic red.

don't forget a liner(and a primer if you smoke!), bleeding is not cute.
(also, Brick and Chestnut make for killer liners)

makeupbytiffanyd has a great article, as well as Youtube video along with it, called "How-To: Perfect Red Lips (Gwen Inspired)". she has a bunch of tips, like doing the 'reverse liner' trick, taking a concealer brush and outlining around the outside of the lips, so the red really doesnt bleed and looks extra defined and perfect (well i thought that seemed smart haha)

The absolute best matte red Marilyn Monroe lip you will get is from MAC and its called Ruby Woo. Apply Cherry Lip Pencil to your entire lip first and then put the lipstick over it. The most amazing red lip.

I so agree wit here russian red is dat best it dose not look cheap and for me have juciy lips it dosent make it look over the top so yea!

Your own PH level can change the colour of red lipstick. I have a piece on which red shades are best for different levels. I will have to dig it out.
I personally like the Uma Thurman Pulp Fiction make up using Chanel.
I have some Berry Shades from mary K and Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour range. The 8 hour Berry is a sheer tint with a shimmer.
I am yet to try as I am using other lipsticks I don't want to spoil them.

In my opinion the best red lipstick ive come across is Vasanti cosmetics "USA" lipstick. It has blue undertones and so it goes with every skin tone! I have a review of it posted on my blog check it out.
