Thread: Oily makeup remover

    Default Oily makeup remover

Have you ever bumped into an oily makeup remover? I bought one once, it was terrible, I eventually threw out almost the whole bottle. It would leave this greasy feel, as if I've got vegetable oil on my face, LOL!

Yes I have had some of that and I used it maybe twice it is probably still in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. I have oily skin already I didn't want a oily cleaner so now I use soap and water with a nice moisturize from Avon.

simple cleanser is good and even though it is a cleanser it removes makeup effortlessly and is kind to eyes as well so makes taking mascara ect off easy... and leaves your face feeling soft instead of greasy, simple products are brilliant..

I hate those types of removers! :/ Sometimes I would use baby wipes (tear free kind) to get the oil off my face.

When you use oily makeup remover, you must wipe it off with a tissue and then wet a cotton ball and use it remove the rest of the remover.

You definitely need to try out Motives Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. It's non greasy and feels so refreshing, very gentle and won't irritate your eyes, even if you are a contact lens users.

I am a loyalty customer of this product. All of my friends were so amazed how refreshing and gentle this product feels after trying it and they are not switching back to their old stuff. I can't go anywhere without it! lol....

Oily makeup remover is the most annoying type of makeup remover, hahah. I tried this Neutrogena one (which said oil-free, I might add) and afterwards, it felt like poured oil on my face, even AFTER washing. It was disgusting.

I love oily make-up remover because they are so fast but i agree that its hard to remove the oil of your face after. Its definatly got a good idea if you already have oily skin.

petroleum jelly works fine, and is super cheap. try the petroleum jelly by vaseline. it works great on water proof mascara and eyeliner, but i dont suggest using it all over your face haha. otherwise, just use a cream cleanser like burt's bees cream cleansers or cetaphil. they work GREAT.
