Prom hairstyle

Hi all, I have a prom coming up and I'd like a few ideas for how to style my hair. It's quite thick and just past shoulder length, very dark brown and my parting is quite far on the right side. There should be a picture attached.
Any ideas welcome, if the idea is complicated could you include a tutorial or a link to one

i'd suggest getting it done at a hairdresser and asking thier opinion on what would look best on you. i had my prom last year and had my hair done at a hairdressers and i loved it here are a few pics i think would really suit you and cos of your hair length would be achievable, as the model has aroun the same length hair, its all about how it is put up.

Tight curls and millions of bobby pins are NOT in at the moment. Go for big, loose curls and maybe pull some of it up. It will look gorgeous on you!
