Default My hair feels really brittle

I was wondering if its the weather changing or just my hair not cooperating but my hair feels really dried and damaged. do you think its because of the weird weather changing. Also my hair falls out a lot too is that the weather...or can it because i have a lot of hair?

yeah, the summer sun and heat AND dry air conditioned rooms can definitely damage and suck moisture out of your hair unfortunately. i deep condition a lot in the summer, plus i always use shine serums and heat protection sprays on my hair.

since it IS summer...i guess its possible you could be losing more hair than normal from tying it up into tight ponytails too often? if you dont think thats the case, then it may be other bodily health issues and you might want to talk to somebody about it. on average, humans lose like 100 hairs a day though!

Yeahh, i'd try a deep conditioner like "Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor for damaged hair ".

It can be caused from all of the above. Weather and personal habits. Make sure to get it very hydrated in the summer time and ALWAYS condition. Leave your conditioner on while you're shaving your legs in the shower or something and let it soak in. Also, pool water will dry the hair out really bad.

Your hair loss could be because of the weather but also stress.

1-NEVER USE HOT TOOLS WITHOUT A HEAT PROTECTOR.
2- Use shampoos that are silicone free. http://www.makeup-forum.com/showthread.php?t=1481

Agreed. I've straightened my hair almost every day since like, sixth grade (my hair is SUPER curly naturally, and I hate it.) So, I put Redken Smooth Down in my hair when it's damp and it works so well. I'm pretty sure my hair would be like straw now if it wasn't for that stuff.
