    Default Lips turning to goo

When I wear lipstick or lip gloss, after a little while, I get white gooey stuff at the corners of my mouth...
Most lip balms don't do it and I have now resulted to just putting Papaw Ointment on my lips (which is GREAT by the way ... its an Australian ointment that can be used for EVERYTHING!)

Why does this happen? How can I stop it? Has anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks from Kizza

try drinking more liquids and then put on your lip product of your choice.

You get that usually from dehydration. I recommend moisturizing your lips well and drinking lots of water. When this happens, wipe off all the product from your lips, moisturize your lips again, and then re-apply your lip color. If you don't have time for this, get a q-tip and just gently take off the white stuff. You might also be getting this from applying too much product on your lips. Try decreasing the amount of product you put on. Also, don't use wax-based moisturizer like chapsticks. The wax causes build-up on your lips and also create the gooey white stuff. Hope that helped!

this happens because most of the time your lips ar pressed together so the lipgloss kida settles there but if you apply a chapstick before you apply lipstick that should help becasue chapstick keeps the lips moisturized and helps keep the lips soft and moveable

    Thank you!
I've resulted to just using papaw ointment. VERY popular with girls my age in Canberra (Australia). You can use it for everything!!! Cuts and chaffing and dry lips and skin and... EVERYTHING!! haha
I don't use lipstick very much but I will be in the near future.
    thanks again
