So...I have never tried any of the mineral foundations before. I dont know why, I just really loved my routine and liquid foundation (Clinique's Almost Makeup is amazing for the hot summer weather).

Well..... www.everydayminerals.com has a sample kit. You get 3 foundations, a blush, and a corrector. Thats 5 sample packs for just shipping. Shipping for me was $3 so trust me it isnt expensive at all. They have many different foundation type and such to choose from so you can get samples to see if mineral foundation is for you.

I got it in today around noon so I have yet to try it but as soon as I do I'll let you know what I think. I do have acne scars so I just hope its enough coverage for me.

But check www.everydayminerals.com and see if this offer is for you.

I've found that mineral makeup is so much healthier for your skin. I've been using it for a couple years now and I like how light it feels - like you're not wearing makeup. I've been using Bare Minerals, but you also may want to check out Sheer Cover as well.

Hey all, I am a big fan of Everyday Minerals Lol. I love love love their makeup and brushes. I am kinda bummed though, they no loner have the free sample kits, but they do have their Try Me Kits now which are pretty nice, you can get eye shadows and blushes now!

They also started the Fan Club. They are giving out pretty cool things. This week it was an ipod and complete brush sets! I am hoping that I win *wishful thinking*, I never win anything though...

EM is great! I have a dry chin, oily nose, and semi-oily cheeks...along with some unfortunate red marks. Coverage is amazing and never breaks me out! Keep in mind that the brush you use will highly impact your coverage. If you want the heavy coverage,go grab a flat top brush. Be sure to apply a good moisturizer beforehand too.

Once you find the right foundation shade from samples, you can add an eyeshadow, blush,or finishing powder sample kit for FREE.They really believe in their products to do that =)

I really like topping off my foundation with natural reflections too,it adds to whole "airbrushed" look.A lot of them have noticeable yellow tones in them, though.

    Default Everyday Minerals

While I was at Walmart today I decided to look at some of the makeup brands that are now offering loose mineral foundation. These brands have alot of synthetic ingredients in them. And a bunch of fillers. Some brands moreso than others. But doesnt this defeat the whole purpose of mineral makeup? Isnt the idea behind minerals to be pure, natural and viagra.info/]healthy[/url]?

If the fillers include corn starch, kaolin clay, silk powder, pearl powder, antioxidants, emollients, vitamins then I say that's an added benefit to having your standard Iron oxide,Zinc oxide,Titanium oxide, ultramarines, and mica as ingredients.

The main minerals for mineral makeup are actually really cheap, but if they include weird chemical fillers and talc...they're just ripping you off in my opinion.People nowadays are being more green and concerned for their health, but a lot of companies aim to deceive consumers to make a buck.
