how do u find eyeshadow that matches ur clothes

i have this pink dress and im going to a party and i need a eyeshadow colour that matches the dress and i dont know wat colour. can yous help me pz

you can try using a color circle to sort out the best color which would fit, but my guess is that you could do sth like this:

have you checked out the other photo? the first one?( http://media.photobucket.com/image/p...lakersfotd.jpg ) if you don't like it then i think you can go for a pinkish make-up and just add a little red or purple in it

dont try to match pink eyeshadow with a pink dress, you want the focus on your dress im sure. i think you should go for a soft gold shadow with brown eyeliner, since black can be harsh with a sweet candy color like pink. except you can use black mascara though since eyelashes are supposed to be dark. and dust on some pink blush and shiny lipgloss, itll be a soft romantic look.

rather then trying to match the color of the dress to your eyeshadow, try to match the style of the dress to your makeup. a pink fun dress and some soft shimmery grey eyeshadow and nude lips would be a good idea. its hard to say if we dont know what the dress looks like. Try out some looks on yourself beforehand, greens, browns, yellows, greys, blues all look great with pink. so you have alot to work with. have fun with it

ya, definitly try some soft browns and gold on your eyes. they'll go with your dress, but not match it exactly. matching your dress to your eyeshadow is generally not a good idea. good luck!

Yeah, I like the golds and neutral, earthy tones.. I say go with those...or...depending on the shade of pink your dress is, you may want to go with a frosty white at your brow line and a little bit of light (very light) pink on your lid.... IDK..just an idea!

I had a costume party to go to and I had the exact color of my costume (blueish silver with gold sparkle- I was a robot- don't ask) anyway I got the eye shadow made to the exact color here http://www.pinkquartzminerals.etsy.com
I was really happy with it. I haven't tried anything else from there yet tho.

Best way is go out and buy an eyeshadow pallette that contains different colors and pinks and heres the trick if you want to have shadow that will compliment your dress use more than just one monotone pink use a light shimmer for the duct of your eye then on the lid use a light pink (one lighter than your dress) and finally for your eyes and athe dress to pop use a pink that is similar to the color of your dress and it wont hurt if it's a little lighter or darker than the dress, you want to compliment your beauty
