I am going to vegas in august...and i know it is going to be brutally hot...and i just want to what kind of breezy light clothes you guy would recommend me to wear besides skirts,shorts,or whatever....
also not to mention i want it to look cute and casual

i was just there in june, and yeah its very hot, especially during the day it really is brutal! at least its not very humid so you won't feel super sweaty.

its such a touristy place that you get people that dont care what they wear or look like and then you get the younger people that dress up real nice and fancy and girls in their clubbing clothes and heels all the time and then most people are inbetween.

i was in between and wore casual summer clothes like colorful sundresses, miniskirts and shorts, cute flowy/tunic type tank tops or strapless tops, and sandals and flipflops etc. i dont know what your style is and what not, so i cant tell you exactly what to wear but id border on more casual summery cute, except at night. bring a cardigan or light zip up with you at night and in the casinos and hotels, because it gets pretty cold from the air conditioning

As a fashion addict, I would recommend to be yourself in what you are wearing. It all depends in your style. I in the other hand would get 5 key pieces: skirt, blouse, pants, dress and sweater. This way you will travel light and have endless options. I would choose a print skit that is airy and somewhat short, a neutral color top with interesting pleats or an interesting design that will go with your skirt and skinny pants. And a fun sexy SHORT dress (Think Glam, lots of spark). The sweater should be a soft cashmere that could possibly fit in your purse for you will need it when dinning out. Vegas is all about glamor so don't be afraid to use the highest heels, wear heavy make up and a eye catching accessories. If your from NY you'll know all about it, if not dresses it up a bit.
