Fake MAC

There is definatly fake MAC on the internet but i wanted to know, do you guys really care if its good stuff and its not expensive. I mean not everyone loves to pay 30$ for a brush you know.

Well no, I don't care about fakes, I just don't want to pay the same price as I would pay for MAC if it's a fake and it's going to suck.
If it's good quality, I'm all for it.

Yeah, I agree. If it's good quality, whatever.
But you're being ripped off if you're paying what you would originally pay for a MAC product, and the quality doesn't match MAC's.

i was talking to my friends about this fake mac make up and they dont care as long as the packageing looks the same so i tried tryed the fake and dont think its that bad for the price you pay.

I don't care as long as it doesn't have harmful effects, like some where online I read that there could be metal in the makeup and if it gets in your eye you could go blind? I'm not sure.
And I mean if its the same quality but differnt prices then I would go for it.

i love mac make up and bought some of the fake in a job lot and the only way u can tell its fake is that the tube of pigment has a number on it and not the colour name, i think the fake pigment is really good least i save loads of money now as i only pay £6 for one.

I have brought some fake mac items off ebay without realising it and they look really cheap and the colour payoff of the eyesahdows is really not good. I'd much rather not buy fake mac makeup as firstly I don't know what they've put in it and wouldn't want to harm my skin. Some of the stuff on ebay is laughably fake it's unbelievable!
However, saying that I recently brought the mac 316 lip brush from the site knowing it wuld be fake but not wanting to pay the full price again. I already have the real one from the mac store, but I wanted another one (i like to put some lipstick on them and chuck them into my bag instead of taking the lipstick with me everywhere I go). They are pretty much exactly the same. The quality is amazing. They bristles of the brush are a little off but still it is worth buying as it only cost a few quid.

How do u know when it's fake ????

There's a lot of sites that will tell you what to look out for. Go on youtube for some advice too.
Usually it's things like palettes with sponge tip applicators (e.g. the mac cream palette with 12 eyeshadows is fake - mac have never made a palette like it). Also, all their products have names on them not just a number or something like 'powder blush'. Their pigments have a plastic top when you unscrew the lid unlike the fake mac which have a sprout thing which you have to pour the pigment out of.
The single eyeshadows which are fake come with a sponge tip applicator and a mirror under the eyeshadow. They also come without names.
The lipsticks tend to have a very visible seam along the side and no names.
Recently the fake items have become almost identical in packaging to real mac. I have heard that the pigments now come with the same plastic coving and names at the bottom of the items just like real mac. I'm also sceptical about foundations which some sellers have a lot of 'in the wrong shade for their skin colour',
I would just not buy from ebay.

so about this Brush111.com, what all have you bought from them?? any of the fake mac pigments or shadows? If you have are they good quality for the cheap price u are paying. I really wanted to buy the pigements and after hering they were fake from another site i was a little doubtful. So yeah if anyone else has anything to say about the pigments or the shadows it would be greatly appreciated=)

I saw some eye and lip pencils. I am sure M.A.C don't make multi sticks.
I was very unlucky in the past to have them. They were a gift too.I still have them, but will never use them. Shame as, the itention and thought was very much appreciated.

Some of the fake MAC aren't good quality. My mom got me eyeshadows and they don't go on the brush (MAC) too well. >.>

...I recieved some fake Mac brushes online...they were awful.But I heard you can find some really good fake shadows out there.
