If I'm not mistaken, dermablend is supposed to be pretty good at covering things like that. by me you can get it at a department store counter - like Macy's. Will you have to cover it everyday if you get the job? That may be a drag!

This is a bit late.
All the suggestions given do work, and they work great. Also airbrushing works great as well.
However... Even if you powder it or use a setting spray, it will transfer onto your wardrobe and we all know how much it can be a bitch to get make-up out of clothing.
Skin Illustrator palettes work the best for covering tattoo's and they won't transfer any make-up on to clothes and they require very little touch-ups if at all.
Dermablend seems pretty amazing... I saw this video, and if that doesn't make you go "Holy cow..." then I don't know what would XD

I was on a film last Oct. '11, and there was an underwater scene where the actor had to jump into a lake off a dock and wash blood off himself with shampoo, and then he had to come out and onto the dock and say his lines.
He had 3 very large tattoos that the director wanted covered. After the 1st take, the typical creme based tattoo covers washed off with the shampoo.
After the ensuing drama -rama... We used the Skin Illustrator pallette to cover his tats and as an extra safety measure, we set it with Green Marble. After 5 takes of the shampoo washing, the Skin Illustrator still held up without touch-ups, even after resetting him with the blood. Now, if the crew can go "Holy cow..." Then I don't know what would.
However to be fair, Dermablend is a good tattoo cover.
