    Default Essential Oils

When these are listed before water in a formula, on the label of a ready made product, is it safe to assume the concentration is high enough that it is an active ingredient, or does its position have little to do with whether or not the concentration is actually therapeutic?

In a science course i was doing a while back on foods, digestion etc. We learned that the order of ingredients indicates their concentration. Based on this i would assume the oils are an active ingredient. If you are interested in using essential oils but aren't certain about ready made products, you can make your own. You'll need a few drops of the essential oil of your choice (tea tree works to help oily skin and infections, lavender calms irritated skin etc.) mixed with a base or carrier oil. Massage this into your skin and wipe away with warm water. If you want to know more i reccomend you do a web search on essential oils and skincare. If you have sensitive skin though, test a little oil on your skin before going all out. Hope this has helped x
