Which Is The Best Brand Of MakeUp

Uh Which is the best brand of makeup, all I know of Is Maybelline, Covergirl, Smashbox, Napoleon Perdis and Estee Lauder.
Anyone have any ideas on some good ones?

It's usually all about trial and error, you have to find what works for your skin

MAC is very popular, as is Smashbox, Too Faced, Bobbi Brown etc etc.

I don't like Napoleon at all. And I don't use anythign tested on animals, so that rules out Maybelline and the likes. But then other girls will rave about these brands, so yeah trial and error

bourjois has some good mascaras, eyeliners and eyeshadows. i think you need to find what works with you especially for foundations as some might not work well with your skin as others do.. if you get what i mean lol barry m has the best dazzle dusts around as well... xx

laura gellers cosmetics are fab..not tested on animals, not full of nasty hidden extras either that irritate skin, like talc for example...none of that in her complete range

I think that Origins, Stay Tuned, is probably the best makeup. It is for combination skin. I can only find it online, or at Macy's. Don't let the price scare you. It is around $17, and I have wasted more than that trying to find the right makeup. They have makeup for normal skin types too.

A word of caution...don't always rely on the girl at the makeup counter to get the right shade for you. Have her apply the makeup, and tell her you want to wait awhile to see how you like it. Then, go into natural light, and see how it looks. I keep going back to Origins, so hope they never stop making it.

The first time I bought Origins, the one applying the makeup suggested a shade that I THOUGHT was right, because I thought she knew what she was doing, but alas, that proved wrong. People told me I looked like a ghost. I always am cautious now, those artificial lights are not conducive for finding a right makeup shade.

Maybe line makes great lipstick in that Super stay lipstick. It does not exactly what it says on the box and stays on for ages. They also do good foundation.
For everything else I'd have to go with Urban Decay. It can get pretty pricey but the makeup lasts for ages and you can wear it in a variety or ways. Wear it dry for subtle daytime shades and colors, or wet your brush for really vibrant color which you can mix for fantastic glum rock eyes! Yeah, I love Urban Decay.

Smashbox is PETA friendly. They have bunnies on every box. If you are concerned with animal testing to to thePETA website to check out their opinions on the subject. They are the most harsh with the evaluations.

N2Chat I agree with your comment on Orgins make sure you test it yourself first. I had major reactions to their mask. Its an inexpensive product just because its organic doesnt mean its good. Fresh is a great product for skin!

I'd have to say Make-up Forever High Definition Foundation, It's light and covers everything very well, and if you don't have anything to cover up and just need a pick me up its perfect for that as well, you will look flawless and it will give you everything you want. Also I would suggest if you want a more heavier foundation and a more matte look you can try Make-up Forever Matte-Velvet Foundation. They might be a little pricey but both of these foundations are beautiful and worth the price.

the best make up i've seen is called Young blood.
it's a mineral makeup free from zinc.
it works on fading blemishes, creating the perfect complexion and
lets your skin breathe, which may improve it.

I think its MAC makeup. MAC has the best pigmnents and they are visible when u put it on your skin!
