    Post Hair Hair Hair Hairrr

Just some good tips for you girlies and your hair, if it effects you, and the tips work id love to know. Its only really tips on if you suffer with, Psoraris, Dry Scalp, Greasy Hair, Product Build-Up, Really Bad Splitends. And a few other tips !! xo

If you suffer from Psoriasis or Dry Scalp then theres a treatment which you can get at hairdressers called 'Hot Oil Treatment', this treats the scalp and it works alot, soothing the skin and it really clears up the irration.
You can also do this at home, all you need is
    - 2 Bowls
    - Boiling Water
    - Oil (Vegetable, Cooking )
    - Scented Drops
    - A tinting brush to apply it with, or a small facepaint brush
All you do is boil water, pour it into a bowl, then pour some oil into another bowl, placing it ontop of the bowl with boiled water in, all this does is warm up the oil, Some people like to put lavender drops into it so it smells nice, but you dont have to. Then you put your hair into four sections like a hotcross bun, you start at the front of the head, using your brush you dab it into the oil and take small sections of hair and dap it onto the roots and scalp, you then work through the rest of your hair. Once youve finished the hair you then need to massage it all in for around 10minutes. Then get your hairdryer and have it on the go for 10minutes. DO NOT hold the hairdryer close as the oil will become very hot and you will have a burnt scalp. In the hairdressers you would be put under a dryer or a steamer. Once finished, wash it all off, dont use hot water, use warm water.

If you always find that your hair is constantly greasy, then you should try to turn the temperature down on the water when washing your hair. Also you may be scrubbing your head to hard, as when you are doing this, you are massaging the scalp which is producing more of your natural oils. So when you wash your hair dont be to hard, and with your fingers do circlural movements.

If you have product build up, then its because of the products your using, or because your not washing them out properly. Most people mistake product buildup for Dandruff. Dandruff is BIG WHITE FLAKY SCALES that come off your head. Product build up is way smaller. To get rid of your product build up is simply, cut down on the products you are using, or if there really cheapy then that explains. Also make sure that you give your hair two good shampoo's.

Bad Split Ends? Well straighteners, Curlers, Chemicals all to blamed! But there are some amazing products which you can buy such as Tigi Ego Boost, Which reconstructs the hair. Or you can just give yourself your own conditioning treatment, apply alot of conditioner to the hair, and massage it in, leave it for 10minutes, and wash it out. Do this quite often and always go for regular cuts.

    Other Hair Tips.
When you have washed your hair, have a quick rinse of cold water over your hair, and it leaves it very shiny.
Kelp Tablets, (Can buy in Holland and Barret), are full of keratin, which is what the hair is made out of, are really good to put the hair in good condition.
Baby Shampoo is the best shampoo for the hair, its really gentle and no harsh chemicals.
Head and Shoulders are full of strong chemicals, chemicals which are strong enough to perm with.
Dont wash your hair every day, its good to let it get a bit dirty.
If you use a round brush to blowdry your hair with, whilst blowdrying your hair, turn the brush constantly it helps to keep the cuticles closed.

If there is anything you would like to ask me, go ahead !

Also, it's not advisable to do this often, but my cousins a hairdresser and she told me to do it.
I got egg in my hair as I am a kids club leader, and even after many washes, there was still egg in my hair and it stayed greasy on the sides of my head.
Washing my hair with washing up liquid got rid of it all =]
My cousin said it works for product build up too.
But again, don't do it often or make a regular routine of it as it can be damaging.

Nice advice, thanks a bunch =] xx
