best school
i have yet decided what makeup artistry school i would like to attend. Some people tell me its a waste of money and to not go but i think it would better my chance in getting a job as a makeup artist. I have looked at a couple of schools but they are super expensive. The only school i love is MCK in Los Angeles but i cannot go over there. If any of you know what school is the best and cheapest makeup artistry school i can go to here in miami florida??

Don't give up hope! I've heard there's an amazing one down there but I can't remember what it's called. I go to Paul Mitchell so when I go tomorrow I'll ask about it again and come back here.

OH MY GOD do NOT listen to ANYONE who says makeup school is a waste of time!!!! I went to the Joe Blasco Makeup Center in Orlando Florida and it was the BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT. You will not, I repeat, NOT be taken seriously in this industry without the education. I paid roughly 25 grand, but it got me certified in all aspects of beauty, professional, and advanced prosthetic makeup in only 5 months. My instructors were emmy and academy award-winning artists, and everything you do there will prepare you for makeup for HD which is SO important in today's industry.

the struth is anyone can "learn" to do makeup but if syou have a passion and gift for it you can teach yourself keep practicing watch some tutorials on youtube and you can master makeup artistry without going to school but if you feel that you would like to enhance your skills and go thrugh professional traing that will gurantee you the art of makeaup go for it and the only one to make the ultimate decision is you
