i got braces about 9 months ago and i probably wont get them off for another year and a half. i really want to wear lip color but it brings attention to my metal mouth. should i just forget about the lip color or what?

I think this is a personal preference hon. If you are not all that concerned about your braces (and I don't think you should be because a whole lotta folks have had or have braces) then fly at the lip colors, especially if you have been a big lip color wearer previously. However, if you are uncomfortable now wearing something to bold then why not wear a lighter say nude gloss or something that is more to the tone of of your own lip color but just in a gloss shade just to brighten your lips up a bit? Just to give them some pucker power.

no don't froget thte lip color of you want those lips to have color just put some on and my best advice would "if you don't want attention drawn to your braces) keep the lips NAKED i mean with a nuse lip color nude goes gret with everything and if you are in the mood for some real color a light pink gloss will be great it drws attention to the lips but not to those braces
