Try not to wear make-up when you can, it sucks but it really helps!! Make sure you clean your face every night and morning and moisturize! I use Vitamin E on my scars before I go to sleep at night.
i've been really liking Bio Oil for acne scars and other dark scar marks, like on my legs. been using it for almost 2 months. i always put it on my face and scars before bed, and theyve been fading gradually. its good for dry skin patches too.
i got my Bio Oil at CVS, they have a smaller bottle that looks like travel size, i think it was probably 7 or 8 dollars, and they had a bigger bottle, i wanna say it was around 25 dollars. i got the little bottle, it lasts a long time cuz you dont need much for each application. i havent even used 1/3 of mine and ive used it everyday for almost 2 months
My acne scars cleared up after I peeled for a week. You have to peel to reveal the new skin underneath. It would redden you a bit but you only have to do it for a week. After that, you will notice very significant results. The acne scars would be less deep. You cannot get rid of acne scars any other way. I used retin-A before but I think there are milder peeling creams. I would try modification of diet to include at least 75% raw plant-based food (fruits and vegetables predominantly; some nuts, seeds, sprouts legumes and grains okay). A high-nutrient intake diet will result in higher energy and better skin - actually better functioning for all organs.
Vitamin E works for me, it doesn't make a drastic change but it works well over some time. I had some bad scarring last winter so I put it on at bedtime every night (that's when your skin repairs itself) and I did notice a difference after a week. It won't clog your pores so you don't have to worry about that.
I also use vitamin oil on my face before sleep for scars, and it really help. Vitamin E will help with any scaring, and over all skin and nail care
