What mascara brand(s) have you tried? Ask the drugstore makeup person/MAC artist what they recommend. You might need a "perscription mascara". Do you touch your eyes when you wear mascara? I'm no expert, but I've never heard of this.

Mirenesse Secret Weapon 24HR Super Volume Mascara in Black (admittedly the only color they currently sell in this variety), preferably with their Lash Primer underneath for extra Length & Volume. I recently bought it & it is the BEST Mascara I have ever used (& that's really saying something!). My eyes tend to water a lot also. The stuff is literally smudge-proof, tear-proof, swim proof AND, strangely, you don't even need to use a harsh eye-makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day (or the next day, even!). You just splash your eyes with heaps of warm water & carefully remove the 'tubes' with a Cotton-Wool Pad
