Hey guys!

I am new to the forum but I love love love makeup and am so happy to be here! I just wanted to review Lauren Luke's pallet 'My Vintage Glams'. I know some of you would rather watch a video then read a boring paragraph, but I'm just putting my opinion out there for fun, since I don't have a Youtube account. So, before I start, Lauren Luke is a makeup guru on Youtube who goes under the name of panacea81. She's a really sweet lady who lives in the UK and she started doing makeup tutorials and now has 5 pallets of her own called By Lauren Luke. Check her out! You can buy her pallets at Sephora or maybe Sephora.com...If you look at her channel surely there will be more info on that. My pallet was $32 but the price will vary depending on where you live. So, on with the review!

Lauren's pallet 'My Vintage Glams' comes with the following:

Black liner (Raven Black) : I haven't used this yet because I don't have an eyeliner brush, but if any of you have a Lauren Luke pallet, please, I'd love to know what you think of it!
Blush (Berry Cream): I love this blush. It's a pink with purple undertones but it's super pigmented so you have to be careful with how much you put on.
Eyeshadow (Petticoat Pink): This is a gorgeous all over neutral light pink that can be worn in the tutorial Lauren did (she did a tutorial of each of her pallets on Youtube) or on it's own with liner and mascara. Love this colour! All of her shadows in this particular pallet have great pigmentation.
Eyeshadow (Red Wine): A beautiful smoky grape colour. Great for nights out.
Eyeshadow (Silver slippers): This and Petticoat pink are great highlighters or mixed with other colours. It's just a metal silver colour.
Lip colour (Champagne Kiss): Gorgeous frosty pink colour, but not overly impressed with the pigmentation and texture. It felt somewhat gritty and it dried out my lips.
Lip colour (Love bite): Same issues as Champagne Kiss, but it is a deep pink colour. Lauren used it as a lip liner in her tutorial.
Eyeshadow primer (Nude slip dark/Nude slip light): I love these primers! I think the texture is fine and I like that Lauren had two different skin tone colours.
This pallet also came with a tube of lip gloss--just a clear glossy lipgloss. It has a pleasant fruity scent (the only item in the pallet with a scent) and is moisturizing.

Overall I think this is a good buy because you can mix and match the colours or watch Lauren's video and aside from the lip colours the rest of the pallet is great.
