Hey guys!
So I asked a MAC artist online what she thought the nicest day/night looks are for fair, medium and dark skin. This is just meant to be helpful and fun! Here are her answers:
Fair: Day: I love Naked Lunch for the lid, Modelette in the crease. Line with Teddy Eye Kohl. Use Studio Fix Lash on the lashes. Try Pinch O Peach for the cheeks and Viva Glam V Lipstick for the lips.
Night: I recommend a sultry smoky eye for night. Begin with Shale Eye Shadow as a base on your lids (apply with brush #242). Blend Print Eye Shadow through your crease using the #222 brush. Sweep Shadowy Lady Eye shadow through the outer crease of your eyes with the same brush. Line your lashlines with Smolder Eye Kohl Pencil. Coat your upper and lower lashes with Coal Black Pro Lash Mascara. Finish with Jest Eye Shadow on your brow bone as a highlight. Dust Pink Swoon Blush over your cheeks with brush #129. Line your lips with Stripdown Lip Pencil and fill in with Angel Lipstick. Layer C-Thru Lipglass on top for shine.
Medium: Day: Apply All That Glitters Veluxe Pearl on the lid with a #252 Large Shader Brush. Sweep Sumptuous Olive Veluxe Pearl in the crease with the #224 Blending Brush. Dust Humid or Embark Eye Shadows at the outer edge of the eye. Line the upper lashline with Teddy Eye Kohl. Try Peachykeen on the cheeks and Spice Lip Pencil with Warm Me Up Lipstick.
Night: She says that the look above would look great on medium and fair skin.
Dark: Day: For a natural look, blend Arena Eye Shadow (a shimmery peach) over the entire lid using brush #252. In the crease, sweep Folie Eye Shadow (reddish brown) applied with brush #224. Line the upper lashline with Stubborn Brown Powerpoint Pencil. Apply two coats of Coal Black Prolash Mascara. For the cheeks try Peaches, Coppertone, Blunt or Raizin Blushes.
For the lips try Chestnut or Mahogany Pencils with Polished Up, Cocoamour or Shitaki Lipstick.
Night: For bolder look apply Artifact Paint Pot on the lid as a base. Pat Parfait Amour on the lid with the #252 Shader Brush. Sweep Shadowy Lady in the crease with the #224 Blending Brush. Use Seedy Pearl Frost Eye Shadow as a brow highlight. Line the lashlines with Smolder Eye Kohl and smudge using the #219 Pencil Brush.
Hope this was helpful guys! If you want more information, be sure to email an artist at maccosmetics.com. I was lucky enough that she even spent the time to type this out but again if you want more detailed info, just email them.
