i would recommend a dark brown on the outer to open your eyes, and a nice matte spakrle gold on the inner lid, lots of shading and smoldering wit a brown pencil,, i have dark eyes also and that makes them go pop,,,also a trick i love is to get a glitter eyeliner urban decay do a lovely purple, great wit dark eyes, make a line on the top lid all the way over for night time make up its really cool

I don't have brown eyes but I find that blue is a really great colour to make the eye colour pop out !
I have small eyes as well and they are dark brown too any color that is bright like gold or something with a shimmer will go wonderful, i think its great have dark brown eyes becasue you can wear any color shadow and it will look great, just experiment it alll depends on what you like
I posted this in another thread here too,
but bright, rainbow colors.
try a really pigmented navy blue shadow or a purple.
i use a shimmery champagne, or rose-gold color on the lid, and a soft, medium brown shaded in and blended just above the crease so you can see it. then i top it off with black eyeliner and mascara. it's a great neutral/everyday eye look that helps my dark brown asian eyes pop![]()
I also have brown eyes.. but my real problem is the dark circles around my eyes... any recommendations which colors to use?

You could either try the glittery, shimmery shades-like gold, Pink, and have a dark eyeliner and mascara. Or, you could just use pastel colors with your eye color(bright blue, blueish greens, purple, etc.) Any colors should almost be okay with dark eyes and darker hair. I have to be more careful, however.
For black eyes, smoky eye shadow with an amalgamation of any bright color would look realy sexy![]()
i naturally have brown eyes and i like to wear purple and green not together lol but those are my favorite light colors bcuz they birghtne your eyes
try light colors like purple, pinks and a little bit of white. You could also use all kinds of browns
hope this helped![]()
If you have small eyes, try to emphasize the upper part of your eyes with darker shades, and never put darker shades under them. It will close them more !
Always try and line your lower waterline with white or beige colors. It will brighten your eyes and make them look bigger. Also, line your lower lash line with a light shimmery beige/neutral color. It will open them more and make them pop !
For the upper part of your eyes, there are some key steps as to make them pop even more. Using a good highlight on your brow bone is the biggest of them. A neutral color in a satin finish that is one or two shades darker than your skintone should do the trick ! + a tiny bit of bright white where your brow arches.
As for colors, I recommend a subtle smokey eye of golden shades. Try to imagine your lid divided in 3 equal parts : inner corner, middle of lid, outer corner/crease. Fill in the middle part with any strong golden shade. Now taking a shimmery beige, fill in your inner corner and blend with the middle golden. Then with a shimmery chocolate color (not too strong !), darken the outer corner, blending it nicely with the middle golden.
To make your eyes pop more, trace a thin line of eyeliner starting in the middle of your lid going outwards, and create a smal cat-eye flick ! Line your upper waterline with black pencil and to emphasize the whole look, try and always use a lenghtenning mascara ! (eyeko.com does one that is AMAZING ! the big eyes one, that comes in a tube. So cheap, and SO AMAZING.)
and TADAAAAAAAAAHHH ! Your eyes should appear to you wider and brighter !
Hope this helped !
Silvery greys that are really metallic (i.e Napoleon Perdis loose dust) all over your mobile lid and stretched up just past your crease. Looks greath with black liner and loads of mascara. The contrast between the depth of your brown eyes the richness of the eyeshadow makes them pop big time. Quick and easy too.
I have brown eyes and i use goldens, dark browns, or teals. i love teal eyeshadows as a liner under my lower lashessskts great for summer
Even bronzes as liners for a subtle summer look![]()
