Eyeliner!!!!!!!!!?

I've seen shows were they say you shouldn't where everyday makeup with eyeliner at the bottom. I want to knowwhat to do because I find that eyeliner at the bottom make me look more awake but it also makes me look really...DARK (like-emo) and I don't want that look........ What is a good everyday look that is good for school....KEEP IN MIND...I am black an don't look right in everything! THANKS!

i found that if you run your eyeliner in the inner and outer corner of your eye then use a white in the middle along teh bottom gives you a pretty good awake look- but generally if you dont want to use black eyeliner go for a bronze,gold or silver shimmer with darker skin these colours stand out and will make you eyes pop a bit

i know what you mean about the looking emo thing.. you should try using different colors. like maybe blue or purple! thats what i do. hope this helps=]

Line your waterline only, don't go below that...and if you do, smudge the liner for a softer look. Don't line them all the way to the inner corners; instead put a silver or white shimmery eye shadow to open your eyes and make you look more awake. This keeps your eyes defined, yet doesn't make them appear smaller or tired looking.

Hello, for a wider or more awake eye look you need to concentrate on the whites of your eyes, you can do this by putting white eyeliner on your waterline then do a thin black line on the edge with pencil and smudge gently for a softer look. Finally apply eyeliner to the top of your eyes as per normal and remember to highlight your brow bone, dust tunder your eyebrow with a light eyeshadow. Also try a little white eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes. Experiment and try new things, remember with experimenting to keep your skin clean good luck

I agree with pinkpony141. You could also try black on the water line and heavy mascara on the bottom lashes. It will make you look more awake then just liner.

try not to line your water line(section between lashes and eye) but ing bright playful colors is always cool on dark women. My friend Quiana wears white pencil with blue liquid over it every other day and she loves the way it looks on her skin (she's really really tan)

I don't wear eyeliner on the bottom for an everyday look.. I find that lightly brushing my lower lashes with a bit of mascara does the trick for me!

Have you tried wearing your eyeliner at the upper area? Just like the Chinese eyes to make it prettier? I think smokey eyes would do to you. Don’t wear dark eyeshadows ‘coz I think it won’t work for you (for everyday use).

I think there's many great eyeliner that are not dark. You can put an eyeliner with sparkles or some bright coloured eyeliner.
Personaly, I do not wear eyeliner for school, because they smear all over my lid. I rather put eye pencils. There are so many colours of eye pencils (yellow, green, pink, glittery...) and if you put a thin line on your lid it just look like an eyeliner.
