You can also put vitamin E oil twice or three times a week on the scar. That could help diminish the scar faster.

[QUOTE=Smooth Foundation;14714]Honestly, if you want to get the best advice without spending tones of money trying different products to see what works for you, you should just visit a dermatologist so they can examine your skin. Everyone is different so what works for one person, may not work for another. I've dealt with acne scarring for years and threw away lots of money on products that didn't work....they only made my skin feel good and was a set back for the amount of time it takes to clear the scarring.
I totally agree: Your dermatologist will also know which level your scaring is at-some are sooooo deep that you have to do laser treatments-but they will also know if your skin type will keloid ( I don't know if I spelt that right but it sounds like KEY-LOYD) or not.
I had a cut-like split on the edge of my nostril that would not heal with numerous other products for over 9 months. I tried hydrocortione cream which usually works well on blemishes; I tried other agressive lotions, including ones with alpha-hydroxy. None of these worked. When I discovered Dr Max Powers SCAR SERUM, it worked within a couple of weeks, completely healed the split back to totally normal. You need to be patient for whatever number of days that the skin still has a peel-able layer. Eventually it will completely smooth out. My experience reflects what "The Lil Scar that Could" says, that it works for healing and preventing a scar more so than getting rid of an existing scar. I believe it can work to improve existing scars, if not remove them, especially if one if persistant. This serum goes a LONG way on small cuts or blemishes that can create a scar if left untreated.
Hi..
Laser treatment is also treatment for Scars due to acne..If you want to get treatment for scars, you have care of your skin..and try for removing acne in natural way..
Well acne problem is a common and everyone wants to get rid of it.I have some tips to get rid of it.
1.Too much water is good for skin so try to drink 10 glass of water in a day.
2.Green tea is also good for skin.
3.Try to avoid oily food and fast food and eat natural food.
4.Fruits are also best food for skin.
5.Use a healthy moisturizing soap on face.
Every disorder in the human body has a cure but it is a matter of time when it is discovered. For the moment there is no easy way to remove acne scars but you can employ leaser technique to remove these. Similarly some people are say that leaser has its side effects too.
1. Lemon Juice Facial. Simply take a cotton ball, dab it with some lemon juice, then start massaging your acne scars thoroughly. The acidity will soften the skin and reduce the appearance of the scars. Let it stay on for about 20 minutes and then wash it away with warm water.
2. Tomato Face Mask. Yet another simple home acne remedy that can help to get rid of acne scars. Simply take a tomato, slice it in two, and then start rubbing your scars with one of the halves. This has a 2 prong effect, which is to lighten the scars and increase skin elasticity. Wash it away after 20 minutes.
3. Egg Whites. Use a cotton ball to massage egg white into your skin. The whites of an egg have very powerful healing qualities which can help to heal your scarring and make it significantly less visible.
4. Cucumber Juice. This is a great technique for reducing inflammation and increasing elasticity. Since there is no acidity in cucumber juice, there is no need to wash it off immediately. Leave it on and be sure to repeat this remedy daily.
5. Baking Soda Remedy. An excellent and very popular method for how to get rid of acne scars naturally, as it helps to unclog your pores, it kills acne causing bacteria, and it even helps to exfoliate the skin. Simply combine water and baking soda and mix it thoroughly into a paste. Apply this mixture to your acne scars and let it sit for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse and wash your skin well. Use this technique twice daily.
6. The Honey Rub. An excellent way to smooth out the skin and clean your pores. Use warm-hot water to clean your face, then quickly pat the skin dry. This will open up the pores and allow the honey to get in there. Apply the honey liberally to the areas affected by acne scars AND all around these areas too.
Wait for about 20 minutes, then wash your face again with warm-hot water. Dry your face for a second time and then rub an ice cube all over your skin, thereby closing the pores. This technique, like any other, won't completely get rid of acne scars all on it's own, but it will greatly help if you include it in your routine.
7. Quality Acne Scar Cream. It's the simplest & fastest technique there is to get rid of acne scars and there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER for you not to be doing it. Apply a top-quality scar cream each and every day to get the best results. A quality cream will help to heal your skin, rejuvenate it, and of course make it dramatically smoother. Ina nutshell, it will erase your scars with hardly any effort whatsoever. Hi. Would you mind me asking how young are you? I guess making fun of one's imperfection is bad. Anyway, you can try hypoallergenics soap or facial wash. Some soaps or facial wash may irritate your face further so better to use hypoallergenics and mild soaps just like VMV.
I recently had a hormonal acne breakout and purchased ScarZone to battle the blemishes - it didnt work!! Then I used the Scar Serum from the Dr. Max Powers line and I like this product because it is super antioxidant and clears up acne pimple and helps to reduce any scaring. This product has salicylic acid to fight the pimples and works nice, also easy to apply and not goey or messy at all. Reasonably priced - and I can use as a moisturizer as well on my face.
Wow i posted a question about this in another thread how to get rid of acne scaring thanks for the tips.![]()
[h=3][/h]I suffer from acne scars too. First, DO NOT PICK YOUR ACNE. If you pop, scratch off, or peel a pimple (scab or not) it will leave a scar that lasts for months. So just leave the pimple alone, it will be there for a week or so.
Try to find 100% TEA TREE OIL, all natural. You can pick it up from a CVS for about 8 bucks. Apply it every other day before bed with a cotton ball after washing your face. If you are a girl don't wear make up for a while and drink around 3-4 water bottles a day. Water cleans out your system and helps flush out the redness of the acne. It will eventually fade. For temporary redness relief, take anti-red eye drops and dab them onto your scars. Also look for acne products with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide in it. Those dry out the pimples and get rid of the bacteria inside.
I need help covering up a scar too- anyone heard of Dermaflage?
Dermaflage is for indented scarring. There are several types of acne scars. Ice-pick scars are the most difficult to treat. You can see types at acnescars.com. Dermaflage is a silicone filler that involves several steps for application. I don't have any personal experience with the product. People with acne scarring come in many different forms. Some have such severe scarring and their skin is so thick that even chemcial peels do not work well. Dermabrasion is still used in the industry for acne scars. This is where is skin is actually scraped away to form new smoother skin. It has a long recovery time. C02 Lasers are also used to burn off layers of skin in a controlled setting. You have to have general anesthesia for this and it can be very expensive with a long recovery time as well. There are in-office laser procedures such as the V-Beam and Fraxel that can give good results over time with little down time. Those require a series of visits. I suggest you see a cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist if you have serious scarring. OTC topicals will not change scarring. Retin A or as it is generically known, Tretenoin, in a higher strength than .05% may give you good results. It must be given with careful instructions of how to use and work up a toleration level for your skin, or you may get discouraged and quit too soon with it. The Obagi Skin care system in conjunction with Tretenoin is one of the best I've ever seen for clearing up acne, discoloration, and low level scarring. It must be purchased from a doctor's office, but it REALLY works.
There is one technique you can use to get rid of blackheads that cause acne. First make a clean towel wet in warm water and lay it on your face. Take an acne extraction tool and lay the looped part of it on the blackhead. Press it gently on your face so that the sebum comes out of the skin. After it is done clean your extraction tool in hot water to disinfect it. Hope this helps.
The main reason for acne is oily foods such as junk foods and improper diet. To cure acne you have to manage your diet and include some fruit and green vegetable in your daily. Regular exercise and morning walk also can help to lower the intensity of acne. Try to avoid marketing product as it may harm your skins adversely.
You should go for fraxel laser surgery. It really works on skin, also it's fast and safe.
Try miami fraxel and I'm sure you will be able to solve your problem.
Good luck!
I like the idea of using natural ingredients in getting rid of acne scarring. It is an affordable and safe way. Baking soda is the best ingredient for me.Baking soda is a good spot treatment mask and exfoliator. I prepare it three different ways for the different uses.
Baking soda spot treatment
-wash face
-mix small amount of baking soda with lemon juice (you will see bubbles)
-place the mixture on spots wit pimples you need to dry (it will feel tingly)
Baking soda mask
-wash face
-mix baking soda with cerave or cetaphil cleanser to form paste
-place paste all over face be careful to avoid areas near eyes and lips
Baking soda exfoliator
-After washing face with luke warm water
-place small amount of baking soda over wet skin wait a little then exfoliate gently.
Here is a simple tip that you can use to reduce your acne scars and pigmentation.
The Oil Cleansing Method
What you will need:
Warm Water
Cold Water
Clean Towels
Castor Oil
Olive Oil
While searching net i got these this from daily fitness site
The first thing you need to do is to wash your face gently to remove excess dirt and oils from the surface.
You will then need to warm a clean towel in warm water and apply it to your face for 3 minutes. Do the same thing with the cold water but this time for one minute.
Carry out both the warm water and cold water procedure about 3 times but always finish with cold and then pat dry with another clean towel.
Next mix a small amount of castor oil with a small amount of olive oil. A 50/50 ratio will do just fine. Apply the mixture to your skin and let it stay there for 30 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel and you are good to go….
