Default What makeup remover for sensitive skin?

I have really sensitive skin and am not sure which eye makeup removers I can use without drying out my skin. I also need a good recommendation for a facial cleanser that is good for the skin.I think the one I have now might make me break out. I've tried using baby oil and olive oil to remove eye makeup, but it makes my eyes puffy.

I dont use makeup remover because I have sensitive and dry skin, I just use water and it works fine for me

I do agree with you kaylaris, when I'm wearing make up before I sleep, I wash it with clear water only..

I remove make up with a light oil then cleanse with Dove.

I use Dove because my dermatologist says it is the mildest cleanser on the market.

The older women in my family tend to use Olive Oil to remove makeup, but I guess this practice might be pretty common among aging hippies, as well.

For me plain water will do, I have sensitive skin too. Because i once used deep cream after i wear my make up, but that gives me allergies so i stop and just plain water and soap is what i am using now.

Garnier clean and fresh gently eye makeup remover is amazing it works a treat and litterally dizzolves the makeup ... you can also wipe off foundation with this and that works too. Its brilliant and retails for around £4 for a 150 ml bottle hope this helps

I use Garnier as well - Skin Naturals, for dry and sensitive skin. It works great (smells great, too!), never dries my skin out, and it removes even waterproof eye makeup easily. Great product.

Olive oil is quite popular. I've been toying with the idea to give it a try. It's supposed to really deap cleanse the skin without irritating the skin or clogging the pores. And I've also heard about using very mildly heated honey for a face mask, seems to work wonders.

soap and water is so bad for your skin! it will dry it out and destroy your natural ph balance, the acidity level in your skin. elemis do a great cleanser for sensitive skin, their chamomile cleanser....or if your looking for just eye make up remover, that would be suitable, or try Gatineau floracil eye make up remover....using baby oil etc will always make your eyes puffy because of the mineral content

liz earles cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser is another one, great for all skin types, and great at removing even stubborn mascara...

soap and water is NOT the way to go in my opinion!

I have quite sensitive eyes and generally use Clinique Take the day off, or TBS chamomile eye makeup remover. Both of these cause me no problems and remove even waterproof mascara without too much effort.

I use Erno Lazlo sensitive skin eye makeup remover.
All you have to do is shake it and apply.
