Denim! is what's hot for spring fashion, it's everywhere! and so easy to pull off.
Team a denim jacket with a floral dress for a spring look, if the weathers dull wear tights and a scarf to keep warm.
Don't forget chiffon, silk, lace or any other relevant fabrics are also hot for spring, add a more grunge effect to stop yourself looking too girly though, by adding a biker jacket and lace up boots.

I agree with hats. It returned after some time and one can use whatever outfit you're up to as long as you can carry it. The color for this year is blue according to the magazines I read and different shades of it are really nice. Some may still go with the earth color or the brownish yellow, tan, or anything related to that. Mostly environmental colors, I guess.
