Formal Hair Styles for short hair?!

My prom is coming up in a week, and I still don't have any idea what I'm going to do with my hair!
It is very short in the back and on the left side( about two inches long) and on the right side it starts in a short bang(starting on the left side) and goes down in a fringe bang, the longest part being about six inches long.

This, only not pink. It's a medium red-brown shade.

Any ideas as to what I can do? I'm open to extensions as long as it's not anything too expensive.

What did you do with it in the end?
I would have suggested teeny butterfly clips like this: CLICK ME
put onto small twists in your hair.
Or spiral hair pins, like this: CLICK ME
