Your opinion on MAKEUP CONTESTS - what's worth your time?

I've noticed many different contests. Some get huge responses while others don't. I would like to sponsor a contest but I want to know what you all are looking for.

1. Why do you participate in one contest over another?
2. What types of prizes capture your attention?
3. What do you do with your winning prizes?
4. What kind of products do you really wish someone would giveaway?

Contests that are easy to enter (just require a comment or answering a question), I always enter. Ones that require me to visit other websites and do other things (add someone on twitter, etc), I don't usually enter.

Products I love to see given away: blush, lipstick, bronzer, lip gloss, perfume, nail polish.

1. I'll always participate in text based ones, ie if you just need to say "enter me" or write a little something, but ones that require lots of effort like a makeup look, I'll only do if the theme appeals to me and it'd be something I'd want to do anyway.
2. Anything I either can't get in the UK, or something colourful!
3. I've never won anything
4. US products being given away internationaly!

one contest might have a better theme, it may be more inspiring or it may just have good prizes

interesting prize packs not just one larger prize
