It's time to toss out that boring old shade of red lipstick that you've been using as your go-to daring-do, and go orange.

Orange lipstick sizzled on the Spring/Summer 2010 runways of Prada, Twinkle by Wenlan, and Nanette Lepore. And pretty young things like January Jones, Ciara, and Sienna Miller have been spotted with orange pouts in finishes ranging from matte to glossy.

I would, depending on the pigmentation, finish and undertone of the lipstick. I wouldn't wear a straight up matte, opaque flat orange color because I DON'T think that all skin tones can pull it off. I would do maybe a pearly shade with a lustrous finish.

Very true. I tried Kat Von D's orange lipstick and it looked horrible against my tan skin. My boyfriend didn't think it was attractive at all.

Although I do have orange lip gloss. I love that gloss though because it can give a sheer coral finish with the right lipstick.
