Eyeliner with lenses!

I am going to wear lenses on an upcoming part but i am confused about applying eyeliner. Should i apply it before wearing lenses or after.
I think in any case it will cause irritation in my eyes and blv me i do not want to take red itchy eyes to the party.
what should i do?

I line when my contacts are in, there are some products such as Loreal that won't bother your eyes (I use that for mine) . Sorry if that is not helpful

please tell me which loreal eye liner are you using? Is that some specific one?

Yes, I don't have it any more but I believe it was called 'Soft Khol' in black. I have Rimmel ones as well that are 'soft khol' and one called 'special eyes' to me that one is the best because it does not make my eyes feel all watery after I have used it. And it goes on smoothly.

I wear colored contacts just about every day and even though I thought i'd stop wearing eyeliner on my lower lids by personal choice, my eyes never get irritated by the liner. It's all about the type you get and how you're applying it. There's a girl on Youtube, username makeupbyTiffanyD and she gives GREAT tips on how to do your eyeliner. Make sure you get a smudge proof eyeliner and try holding the pencil/stick as if you're angling it and just softly line it making bigger strokes each time.

I wear contacts every day and always apply my make up after contacts are in. Practice and see what works best for you. Sometimes I will put eye drops in my eyes before my contacts when I want to make sure there is no redness that day!

I don't think it makes much of a differance wether you apply eyeliner before or after your contacts! I find it easier to do my make up with them in for the simple reason that I can see better with them in.

hi, i wear contacts every single day and i always apply my eyeliner after my contacts are in i wear all kind of eyeliner ( gel,liquid,khol...) and i never had a problem with irritation ,but if your eyes gets irritated easily ,just dont wear eyeliner on your waterline and it should be ok it's what i do when i have allergies and i never had any problem

I do all my makeup after I put my contacts in, I like to see what I'm doing on my face, lol! A lot of eye makeup products will tell you on the back of the package if they are safe for contact lense wearers, or hypoallergenic. I don't think normal makeup application will irritate your eyes with contacts...unless you poke yourself in the eye or large particles literally get underneath your contact.
