bright color lipsticks or gloss?

hey girls!
Do you wear bright color lipsticks or gloss? I never got the courage, i guess they look bad on me.

Hehehe I do aaaaalll the time, more then I do eye shadow. I say try it once, don't like it try a different color. I actually wore a bright orange once for kicks. The trick is (at least for me) to not make your eyes bold. If my lips are bold (like hot pink) then try not to make your eyes bright. That is just my own personal opinion everyone likes differnet things. I am just one of those who likes bright colors on lips. What color were you thinking?

i was thinking of orange too and purple and red. but red looks so good on some faces.

I would try them all out and see, if its too harsh you can always use a tissue and dap it away. Also mixing colors are quite fun

I do sometimes, but I always tone it down bit by putting Vaseline on first.

I love reds. I've even made my own yellow and purple lipsticks.
Another good way to find out if you like a colour is if you have that eyeshadow (or remotely the same colour) mix it with some petroleum jelly and put it on your lips, it's easy to wipe off and it doesn't stain!

Better off trying out a bright colored gloss, rather than a lipstick because they're far more pigmented. Glosses are easier to wear. Try Revlon Super Lustrous in "pink pop". The more you apply, the brighter it gets or you can apply a thin layer and have a more natural looking pink lip. Very pretty color. L'Oreal Colour Juice in "grape soda" and "tutti fruitti" can also be worn intense or applied lightly for a more sheer look. Both colors are gorgeous and fun to wear. L'Oreal Infallible Plumping gloss in "plumped rose" is a pretty, bright rosy pink and very wearable as well.

i just pretty much got on the bright lipsticks i usually do the gloss but i wanted to try something bolder i guess i wasnt sure if the lipstick was gonna work or not.But i loved it!I got a bright light pink which complimented me very well (:
