Which MAC foundation should I wear?

So hi there, I'm new And looking for some make up tips so joined the forum.

I am using elizabeth arden foundation but since I started using it since I went back to school I have been getting spots from it, which I never used to get. I want to get a different foundation and heard so much about MAC Im going to give it a go
My skin is very dry in patches because of using Dream Matt Mouse, it just dried my whole skin out. I also have freckles on my cheeks which I hate LOL.. I want a flawless finish, Oh and I am 16 in just over a week too

So any suggestions on which MAC foundation to buy on Saturday?

Well it depends if you want something with a shimmer or a matte finish. I usually go with the mineralized satin finish. They have a whole bunch of different types that you can try though. It depends on the colouring of your skin as well, if you have freckles I'd say stay away from shimmery types of foundation and go with more of a matte, and get a good light bronzer or blush.

I've seen the MAC face and body foundation in a lot of tutorials so that is probably a pretty safe guess to use that. I tried it in the store and it has a really good consistency, it's really creamy and smooth but not oily at all. Also, its a body foundation! ( said in the name) so multi-fuctional products are always great. I would recommend using the mac loose powder or the blot powder with this because the foundation itself would be compared to a tinted moisturizer in my opinion. I hope you find something you really like!
