I am absolutely confused. Please help.

I have a huge crush on a guy that lives on my floor.
I met him probably like three weeks ago and we recently just started hanging out.
He teases me ALL the time. I've caught him looking at me and he doesn't look away. In fact he smiles and totally holds my gaze. He makes me laugh all the time and makes me super happy. And I do the same for him. We have a ton of stuff in common. He's already told me he thinks I'm really cool. He has made an effort to touch me. His face lights up when he sees me.
Every time he goes to his room he usually stops by says hi and talks to me. I saw him look back at me a few times even after he was done talking to me.
He makes future plans with me like having a movie night together.
I asked if he wanted to get dinner tonight (not a date just grab some campus food quickly) and at first it was a yea I'd love to! Then it ended being a maybe because his friend was coming over. I think he ended up going out and I was actually waiting to get a late dinner with him.
I know we haven't known each other long but I have never felt this way for anybody, even my ex-bf whom I loved.
So what do you think?

i think you've already decided on what route to take with this guy, but to admit that within 3 weeks you feel stronger for him than the ex-boyf whom you loved is slightly concerning. maybe you just crave the relationship more than the actual person, if you know what i mean?
i'd suggest to take it slowly, see how things pan out as friends first and get to know each other, and then decide on what plan of action you'll take! the best relationships can develop from friends, and if you give yourself a bit of time then you'll be absolutely certain about what you want to do

No. I meant we connect alot better. I don't love him obviously. I'm not one of those girls. In fact I rarely get crushes and connect easily. That's why this is so new to me.
I'm going to ask him to hang out this weekend.

it sounds like he likes you too. and yeah i agree that you should start with a friendship. and let it work into more. dont hold back too much cuz hell think you dont like him but dont be too eager to jump right into. slow is usually better.
i cant wait to see how the hangout goes. be sure and put that on here so i can read more into it.

If you feel that you already have that natural connection with him, then everything will just fall into place naturally . I say just go with it and don't think too much about it ... it will just happen! That is exactly what happened to me and my boyfriend. We have been together now for 2 years and 4 months. When I met him for the first time, we had this instant connection and just got along so well. It was perfect actually. Never in my life have I made that type of connection with anyone until I met him. Good luck and keep us updated .

You defintely have something with this guy!! Great chemistry, but remember you guys aren't dating yet so your not really his priority and remember guys love to play hard to get at the beginning,
making plans then cancelling hahaha.
