I was watching this video and complaining to my boyfriend that it sucks because to have salon great hair you need someone to do it for you. Then he said well "I'll do that to your hair for you",meaning he would dry it and curl and everything for me. I thought it was really sweet and wondering who else's man has gone out of their way to do something out of their comfort zone to make you feel great. And also what is more important, that he offered or that he can't really do hair and it would take practice.

Aww! Yes, that is so sweet! I doubt my boyfriend would do that for me if I had one. I think it's so sweet also that he can't really do hair & it would take practice.

awww that is really sweet. You are so lucky I am not sure if my boyfriend would do that, i know what he would say "You look lovely this way, no need to take that pain"
but ya my ant's husband used to oil my ant's hair and even shampoo them to pamper her. He even used to apply nail colors to her nail

Wow, I doubt my boyfriend would do that for me. He won't even hold a mirror up for me in case he comes across as gay or something.
My ex however used to straighten my hair for me when I couldn't be bothered and fold my clothes for me. Shame he was an asshole.

LOL! My boyfriend would totally do it for sure! He always puts my happiness first before his own ... he even told me that one night when I was really upset about something. I am really blessed to have him in my life.

Cool. Well, from where I'm at, there will definitely be a lot of boys who are going to be willing to do that to their girlfriends.... But I don't think they are really BOYS. anyways, it would be great (and will save a lot of money) of boyfriends started doing things like that. beats having to stay for hours in the parlor and having to pay expensive services just to look beautiful for them.

That is so sweet of him! My boyfriend did my hair once and it looked pretty nice but he burned himself with the curling iron, so I was really sorry that he accidently hurt himself just to help me...

    Really???

I have a couple of gal pals that I do their hair on occassion and sometimes their make-up for special occassions. Yes, it's true that they love getting their hair done by a friend. However from a boyfriend???

    1) He would have to be competent with hair tools and proper sectioning etc.

    2) Girls love to vent.

    3) Girls will tell things to their hairstylist or make-up artist that they will never tell their boyfriends.

    4) That's why there are services such as nail and hair salons that girls go to so that they can vent about work and relationship stuff away from their boyfriends.

Unfortunately for me, this has led me right into the Friend-zone Hell, because they vent so much to me, that it makes no sense to them to be in an intimate relationship with me. Even though I love doing their hair and they love getting it done by me.

Why not if he knows what he's doing . There's a boyfriend tag video in youtube about this topic and my God, it was a disaster. Oh my! LOL

When I was tired my exboyfriend used to offer to cook me dinner after his long day of work when we were dating.

LOL - That's a far cry away from letting him do your hair... But hey, kudos to him for making you dinner, that's always a nice treat.
