green eyes, funky eyeshadow?

fair skin, red hair, green eyes... i always see those awesome ads like for MAC with the wild color eyeshadows but i never think they'll work for me... specific colors to use?

You could go for a really cool color like purple or bright blue, but then wet an angled make up brush and then swipe it on like eyeliner on the top lid ! I think that would look really good for green eyes and red hair !

i have red hair and green eyes & i usually use a brown shadow with a deep purple over it.

if you dampen the brush before putting on the purple, it looks really cool.

A deep plum color would work wonders. Just make sure it's not too red, you want more of a blue undertone to it. Even something as simple as Cover Girl Eye Enhancers #455 "Purple Pop" or #525 "Forever Fig".
If you want to spend more... Dior 2 color shadow #885 "Purple Look", Dior 5 color #809 "Petal Shine", #290 "Sweet Illusion".
MAC: Single shadow "Beauty Marked" or "Nocturnelle".

Using too light of a color on fair skin will just make you look washed out. Everyone needs that hint of defintion.

Any type of smokey eyes will look great on you... don´t be afraid to use different colors. You can use green, you just have to blend the colors in the right way

OBS! make sure that you blush is NOT a bronzer or has a brown shade! Your face will look "dirty" in a way if you get me. Use pink blushes. And for the eyes, redheads don't suite any color really. I think you should go for purple, and not a cold one, try to find a more plumbery one, like make-up stores "Dramatic". And of course, green always works well, but maybe your tired of that. Silver is an good option, but maybe not for a daily makeup... Good Luck (Y)
