I actually just finished up "The Help". It was a phenomonal book outlining a strong bond between several black and white women in the 1960s when segregation was a part of life. The movie was great also and the cast was well chosen!

Personally, I'm all about reading self-development books and right now I'm reading "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson. The book is pretty much about doing the simple little actions every single day that will compound over time and get you to your desired goal. It's an amazing book so far

Aw read "The Help" a few weeks back and I loved it. Cant wait to see the movie. Also just finished "the hunger games"....LOVED IT... teenage novel I know haha but thought it was great !! couldn't put it down..

Due to busy schedule, I haven't read some books in a while but I still remember all of my fav ones and those that I try to re-read after a year or two.
The Notebook - but not the movie
Persuassions - as featured in the movie the lake house
Jane Eyre - as used in the movie definitely, maybe
love at the time of cholera - as used in the movie serendipity

I am re-reading persuasion this month so I guess it is the book of the month for me.
