Smile Getting colour without going over-the-top?

Ok, so I really like to have a splash of colour on my face, but I don't want to go over-the-top crazy, and I have green/gold/blue eyes (They change, its odd xD) Also if a certain brand/product can be recommended? (:

It really depends on what you think is over the top. i myself like to use purple silverish colors i think it always works well and isn't too much.

Well I'm 13, so I just don't want to cake it on, and have it really heavy.

When your young its fun to play arround with colors. Just make sure it isn't to heavy or dark cuz u still have plenty of yrs ahead of u to wear makeup. Just dont hide under ur makeup. its just supposed to add to ur beauty. u could try bright eye shadows and no eye linner. Or wild eye linner lines with no eye shadow. Just don't do too much! Have fun!

i like to use the L'oreal HIP brand...yeah its not the cheapest thing in the world but the color is amazing, especially the shadow pigment and the liner
it also lasts really long and you dont need alot to get really good color quality

    Hi Mizz,
I can recommend Sheike make up it is awesome. If you have fair hair go for all the Summer colours on the site. Red hair Autumn colours and if you are very dark or ethnic or Asian go for all the winter colours. www.makeupsheike.com.au call Ros 0413875471 for further enquiries.

[You need the right colour for your skin tone. If you have fair hair the dusty and muted pinks look awesome. Very dark hair go for the red or pink blushes. redheads go for the coppers and dark peaches. go to www.makeupsheike.com.au QUOTE=MizzTayx;1774]Ok, so I really like to have a splash of colour on my face, but I don't want to go over-the-top crazy, and I have green/gold/blue eyes (They change, its odd xD) Also if a certain brand/product can be recommended? since your only 13 i think wearing bright over the top colours would be too much, i think sticking with middle range colours as you can get different ranges off the same colour even asking a makeup artist whilst in buying makeup they are the best people to get advice from.

For a bit of color, I think just a colored liquid liner on the upper lid with mascara and no eyeshadow is nice and subtle. Bright colors on the lips or cheeks will definitely be very noticeable, so I would add a bit of color on the eyes and keep the rest quite neutral.

I love playing around with colours too! One of my favourite things that I love to do is put a bit of electric blue eyeliner on my waterline. Seen as your eyes are green/gold/blue, I'd try a rich purple. Purples with blue undertones will make the whites of your eyes appear brighter, whereas purples with brown-gold undertones will make your eye colour pop.*

You could also try just a bit of colour on your outer corner, or in the crease. I also love a coloured mascara!*

I like to have pink eye shadow and then a shade lighter on the outer edges of my eyelid but love to play around with colors too. I just don't like to go overboard don't want it to be where when you look at me you just see my eyeshadow lol. I love neutral colors the most but once in a while do step out of my zone and try the bright colors lol.
