Default What type of mascara is best?

    Heey Make-up people

All I need to know is what mascara brands are the top brands?

I have pretty short eyelashes but when mascara is put on, it looks like they grew metres!

So if you know what mascara brands are the top/good brands, please reply fast as I am going shopping tomorrow to buy these products.

    Thankyou . (: x Kloeelee ;

Rimmel London curves is great and pretty cheap! I LOVE my Boxum mascara that i got from Sephora for $18! It dries slowly but the pay off is great. Just looking at the comb you KNOW it's high quality.

    Rimmel invented the travelling mascara!
in London most people call it a Rimmel just like we call tissue paper a kleenex. Rimmel Mascars are a favourite of mine.
The Top selling drug store brand in North America is the Maybeline one with the pink and green casing.
YSL: their mascaras a luxury brand lover must have:
But my all time favorite have to be : The Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara and the new Loreal Million Lashes in the gold tube.
I have stopped several girls to ask them what they are wearing and its the new Loreal!

I agree with what Maybelline can do to your eyelashes – aside from being effective, it is a lot cheaper compare to other brands. Even if you don’t use lash curlers, it can still curl up your lashes.

I don't really believe in spending a whole lot on mascara because you have to replace it every 3 months and it will add up if you are buying a pricey mascara every 3 months! I absolutely love using Maybelline's "The Falsies" mascara. I just love how it adds so much volume and the formula really does make you look like you are wearing false lashes. Great mascara in my opinion

OK LOOK Im going to be honest here. I have much expierence with makeup and currently have worked for clinique, sephora, and right now am a makeup artist and color expert for the news cast in my local area where im from. There are many different kinds of mascaras out there that work wonders but its all the type of look your trying to accomplish. IF you want to go basic and cheap than i recommend loreal voluminous and keep layering it on for a dramatic fake eyelash Look. If your looking more high end than i recommend Smashbox or Dior show which is popular. People dont understand that its not always about the mascara its how u apply it to the lash. And your makeup is only as good and your skin underneath it. Make sure with mascara your holding the brush up and down as well as how u would normally apply it along with applying it more frequently. For great eyelashes it usually takes me 15 min alone to put mascara on. A heated eyelash curler works wonders as well. its a layering process.. Goodluck to you all =)

There are so many mascaras to choose from but my top 5 would definatly be 1- Benefit They're Real. This mascara is absolutely amazing!!! It makes your eyelashes look extremely long and it has a small brush at the tip that allows you to better apply mascara to your bottom lashes, and it also allows you to unclump your lashes if you apply too much. 2- MAC studio fix - this product instantly gives your eyelashes an extra lift giving it volume and length giving you an illusion of fake eyelashes. 3- Clinique high impact. This mascara is pigmented and allows your lashes to have extreme volume. 4- Too Faced lash injection. This mascara will allow your lashes to look thick. 5- L'oreal voluminous carbon black. This mascara will allow your lashes to look extremely dark and very long

Anyone tried a home made mascara before? it is done through:
1/8 tsp. Activated Charcoal (about 1/2 capsule)
    1/8 tsp. Aloe Vera Gel
Mix together aloe and charcoal. (I use a small baby spoon, since I’m not using them for baby food!) Then, dip in a clean mascara brush wand, pressing it against the inside of the bowl to coat it evenly onto the wand, smoothing out any clumps. Apply to eyelashes as usual. Wait a few seconds before blinking, to let the mascara dry, so that it doesn’t get on your cheeks.
