Red face Home made skin masks.

Hiya, I recently did a home made face mask and LOVED it! Far better then any chemical one I have tried and by far the cheapest! If your interested in the recipe I have done a review on my blog, http://notsosecretworldofacosmeticjunkie.blogspot.com/
I would love to find out some more recipes of face masks,'or if anyone knows of a home made cleanser or toner etc, I'd be really great ful!
    Thank you.

Aside from my favorite clay mask from Omorovicza, I love doing home made face mask, too.

I mix 2 tablespoons natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon honey, and banana. I learned it from Erin O'Connor. Loved it.

What is it good for? Sounds to me like a moisturizing one...

Hi. Can you give me the exact URL of the recipe for face mask as I hardly find it on your blog. Also, what makes it different among those sold in stores? And one last thing, will it give you the same benefit as to those from stores? Thanks

You can use oatmeal-wet a little oatmeal and mix it up evenly and then spread it on your face..It will tighten your skin up for a fresh feel.

    Mask made of pumpkin
    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup fresh pumpkin pulp
    2 whole eggs
2 teaspoon almond milk (for dry or combo skin)
1 teaspoon honey (for dry skin)
2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice (if you have oily skin)
    Preparation:

Purée the fresh pumpkin pulp into a thick paste. Add the egg (this acts as a binder). If your skin is dry, stir in a splash of omega-rich almond milk and the honey. For oilier complexions, instead stir in apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice. Mix well. Apply the mask, leaving it on for 15-20 minutes, depending on your skin sensitivity. Rinse with cool water and moisturize as usual.

I just found a website that offers lots of great ideas for making your own scrubs, toners, etc. at home. I LOVE the honey mask and am going to try the others, too. Take a look here and see what you think, www.bestorganiccosmetics.net

    Good luck and happy day!

Here is an easy one that I tried over the weekend - yogurt mask
    1 tbsp natural yogurt
    1 tbsp honey
(basically 1 is to 1 portion if you like to increase volume)

Combine the two and apply to face for 15 minutes. was with steaming cloth.
