Hi how do u know what color eye shadow to wear and if it looks good with your eye color? I have hazel eyes and dont know what color to choose from?

Lucky you, to have Hazel eyes, lots of great colours to play with.
Copper, to bring the green out also golds,purples,mauves, and shimmery/Golden greens.

Orange,soft pink, and chocolate browns,bring out the brown.

Hi Makeupgirl25 Warm colors go great with Hazel eyes, You can play it up with tons of colors. All browns, copper shades, and the new spring trend for this year orange!! You will look amazing!! Have fun!

I too have hazel eyes and we are lucky because just about every color looks good with hazel eyes. If you want to bring out the green from that hazel, use anything that has a pink or red tone to it. One of the best colors ever is MAC's Sketch. It is my fav. color of all time! Hope this helps!

If you are considering what eyeshadow color to wear, you could choose the full color eyeshadow palette. I have one 88 colors palette from Worldwideal.com , it costs less than $20.00. Sometimes the eyeshadow color needs to match the dress color, with the full color palette, I could choose accordingly, it is amazing!

You can try any color of eye shadows but I prefer more of "smokey eyes". It looks fresh. BTW, what's your skin color?

I love eye shadow and I find unless you go for really outlandish colours like yellows and other bright colours you can go with most colours, using different styles as you go, plus your eyes sound pretty.

When I wanted to learn to put on make up in a different way, I went into a department store and went into the make up department, the Sales Advisor's are usually quite helpful and will show you a basic technique and the best colours to start with.

I was the same as you and now I can do various techniques, then your confidence and skills grow for what can work on you with blending even the brightest of colours.

That is a great haul. I can't wait to see what looks you do with your palettes. I am going to Claire's to get those palettes. I live in London but I spend a lot of time travelling back and forth from america, I will check the Claire's here, but if not I'm getting that shimmer palette as soon as I get back there in a couple of weeks.

NYX has a make up kit especially for green eyes The colors are very pretty! Also I think any of the colors in the Urban Decay Naked Palette would look gorgeous! I dont think you can go wrong with that one.
