What is the best moisturizer for "Oily/Combination" skin?

Hey Makeup-Forum Community!

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this one. My skin type is "oily/combination" and I've been on the search for the perfect moisturizer ...

I've tried a few different brands and all of them have seemed to be a little too oily for me. The current moisturizer that I'm using right now is "Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer".

I've also tried the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer Gel ... unfortunately, this moisturizer did not work out for me. It wasn't moisturizing enough on the dry parts of my face. The same result happened when I tried Neutrogena's moisturizer for oily/combination skin.

Any other suggestions?!?!

We have the same skin type i.e. combination of oily and dry. I use VMV Hypoallergenics moisturizer - SuperSkin products in white with yellow tube. So far, I can say it's effective maybe because I also use the toner for the combination skin.

I use Omorovicza Complexion Brightener. It has apple pectin that keeps the skin well hydrated.

I am fair-skinned and have always had trouble with dryness plus oily "spots" with breakouts as well. For years I tried many things, but couldn't find something that made my face look good all year long. I read about The Green Tea Cleanser from Made from Earth in an article from a dermatologist and it is wonderful! Washing with it and then using a serum in the morning is the regimen recommendation. It then read to use the Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin Cleanser at night to wash. With this regimen I have had great skin for over a year now!

Hey there, I have combination skin (T zone) as well.. The moisturizer I use is from Shielo.. It's called Shielo Complexion AntiAging Moisturizer .. I don't know if you'll find the similar one where you stay.. But this moisturizer from Shielo is for oily or combination skin .. I really like this brand.. It doesn't cause me any break outs.. Hope this helps!!

i would recommend diluting 50% Milk of Magnesia with 50% water and applying it to the oily areas of your face. wait till it dries. That should control the oil. For acne, you could try using benzoyl peroxide or the Aspirin Mask<= i would recommend this over all other acne medications (if you are not allergic to aspirin).

Here are some of the simple stuff you can do (works for me and I wouldn't have to spend that much money):
Try aloe vera.
Wipe with astringents.
Chill out with cold water rinses.
Make a scrub like almond honey
Pull your hair back.

If you want to keep simple, Velocity Lightweight Moisturizer from Mary Kay works well. The facial cleanser too! It is from Mary Kay, sooooo.

The one I found out was working the best for me was Matis Shine Control Purifying Care, I have combination skin and also sensitive, so I use a cleanser and toner for sensitive skin, serum from Matis for oily skin.

If you base the whole skin care regime on Oily or Combination, it might actually be a bit to much. That's what I found out after some time.

I've tried Neutrogena in the past and unfortunately, it didn't quite work with my skin as I had hoped ... thank-you so much for your suggestion though.
