    Default Dry Skin

    Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum, so hello to all and hope everyone is well.

I just wanted to get other peoples opinion on my issue that I have, nothing major just something I want to talk about and see what everyone else thinks.

I get really bad breakouts of spots sometimes and I have a "stick" from the doctors that works wonders on my spots, but now I am getting really dry skin and no matter how much cream I use on the affected area it stays really flaky, nothing that is really bad but it just doesn't look great when I apply my make up it looks bitty and like I can't apply my make up properly.

I use a scrub on my face but that doesn't work either, what ever I seem to use always reacts with my skin and either I get a spot or it just doesn't work.

Can someone help me out a little and let me know if there is anything I can do or use to help me out.

    Hello

I have the exact same problem with my skin!

I went to see my Doctor and he prescribed me a cream and a shampoo which worked wonders!
You can also buy the products in a chemist or some supermarkets.
The shampoo was called Nizoral and the cream was actually thrush cream called Canesten

    Hope this Helps

Hi. have you tried telling your doctor about the effect of the products they prescribed? My sister and brother have the same problem but it's not only on their face but on the scalp and other parts of their body. They used to apply betnovate solution and it does work. They stopped using it because their skin looks good now. The weather is another factor why they have those skin look. I think it would be best to ask your dermatologist before applying anything on your skin. My sister is now using VMV hypoallergenics shampoo and soap and she looks good with it.

You can use mandarin moisturiser or pomegrante oil from john masters organics. http://astore.amazon.com/organicski0...ail/B000QJIMU0

They are organic and good for you without parabens. I am definate it will help your dry skin. Also how many
times a week are you exfoliating? I say if your really dry at least 2x a week. Anymore then that and you could disrupt
your skin's protective barrier, hope this helps!

Skin is normally covered by sebum, which is the natural oil product of sebaceous glands. Sebum helps to prevent skin dehydration. When the skin's fatty oils are stripped away, the skin loses its protection and loses moisture more easily. As skin becomes dry, it also may become more sensitive and prone to rashes and skin breakdown. Simple prevention and treatment measures are very effective in the treatment of dry skin. Basic dry skin prevention steps include avoidance of harsh soaps and chemical cleansers.

Well, olive oil is a good suggestion for dry skin. I've used olive oil my elbows and knees and it works great. Just let it soak in for a few minutes and your skin feels great. I even use it on my lips as an alternative to lip balms and my lips always feel softer. Olive oil is really good.

    Hi there!

I started having the same problem last year... I never really had any problem with my skin until I started getting flaky areas on my face and I realized I have to start using skin care products. I learned that hydration was the main issue!

I have been using AVENE and it worked wonders for my face. I use this set of products before i go to bed and in the morning before i start my day!

    COLD CREAM EMOLLIENT CLEANSING GEL
    GENTLE TONER
    THERMAL SPRING WATER SOOTHING SERUM
    HYDRANCE OPTIMALE RICH HYDRATING CREAM
    ELUAGE EYE CONTOUR CARE

Now a days many people have many skin problems like dry skin, pimpels etc . Firstly we should take suggestion from your skin speclist and then we should use products which suggest your speclist for your skin problem.I think we use skin care products regularly..

Why not try a natural method? Use shea butter as your moisturizer, trust me, it would do wonders on your skin. You can also google what and how shea butter can do to your skin.
