Chanel foundation...is it worth it?

So I need a new foundation - I'm thinking of splurging on a Chanel one since I've heard they're really good, any thoughts? Also, if you use a Chanel foundation, which one? I was thinking of going for vitalumiere but I'm not sure...

Hi. I started out using Clinique foundation and then I graduated to Chanel which I used for years. I personally liked it very much and thought the price was well worth it. Then I discovered by a Chanel company employee that Chanel makes another brand found at the ULTA stores. It is the same product under a different name. I started using that one instead and saved myself some money. It worked just as well. I can't remember the name of it though, maybe a Savvy ULTA employee can help you, Although I imagine they try to keep this information as hush, hush as possible. I am now using CalistaCosmetics foundation and I wouldn't change it for the world! It makes my face look flawless! I'm totally in LOVE with it. Good luck. Finding a great foundation is key!

I was also planning on getting the vitalumiere and then I thought why not give the aqualumiere a try. I personally don't think it's worth the money. It is really nice and kind of "comfortable" on your skin.

I picked up a sample of Chanel's Mat Lumiere foundation this evening, and am really looking forward to giving it a go tomorrow. The only drawback for me is its price: $54. A lot, in my opinion, for foundation (I've been wearing Bare Minerals original for three years now, which is approx. $26). What I'd like to know is this: Is there a comparable foundation to Chanel out there? And if someone knows the alleged sister company, sold at ULTA, would you mind sharing?

hi ladies i just read through you pros and cons of chanel foundation.. i used to use Clinique foundation and was paying a lot in makeup over all.
