    Your skin is not a part of your body that you can forget about (like an appendix or a kidney), assuming that it will look after itself. It is a high-maintenance part of your body, which is sensitive to the slightest changes in your health, emotions and environment. You binge on chocolates and your face becomes a mass of pimples; you don't get a good night's sleep and dark circles appear under your eyes; you're out in the sun a lot and you get burnt or develop freckles. The list is endless. So let's take a look at skin care regimes for different kinds of skin.
    Dry skin
    Use a rich cream cleanser instead of soap and water. Avoid astringents, as they will further dry your skin. Instead, use a mild skin toner after cleansing your skin. Apply a good moisturizing lotion in the day, before sleeping, before applying make-up and after removing make-up.
    Once a week, wash your face with the juice of a melon. You can give yourself a weekly facial by mixing a yolk of an egg with two tablespoons of milk and half a tablespoon of honey. Apply this on your face and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. If you're out in the sun a lot, milk mixed with melted butter helps soften the dry skin.
    Lanolin, apple juice, peach juice, sour cream and crushed almonds are also helpful for dry skin.

    Cleansing milk face cleanser is good for dry skin. I use Omorovicza Cleansing Milk. For toner, choose alcohol-free toner. When it comes to moisturizer, apply a rich cream moisturizer everyday.

    Honey, yogurt, and banana face mask is also great for dry skin.

    Things in life can be connected with your skin health. For the skin of course nothing beats eating healthy and living healthy for the best skin care aside from what I have said before. One thing that I have noticed with men and women is that with stressed, their skin seems to react with it. But when they are relaxed and happy, they always seem to be glooming. Most of the people I know who have good skin are those healthy ones. Exercise and proper diet seems to be their key to keeping good skin health.

    Drink plenty of water, do practice Yoga or exercise daily and use glycerin as a moisturizer for your skin.

    The best way to keep your skin moisten is to apply a rich cream moisturising lotion on your face daily before sleeping.And drink plenty of water.

    It's not cheap, but it might be worth it.

    I agree with you reisha010. Nature has lot to offer, why spend much on expensive creams if you can have your own skin care product right at your kitchen?

    For dry skin we should take proper daily routine like we should take a lot of water
    and take healthy food.We should take fruits and daily do yoga.We should use only
    nature products.Because nature products have not any side effect...

    As I've mention before, nature has lots to offer for us. Here is a natural facial mask recipe for dry skin.

    Dry Skin Mask

    1 tablespoon of buttermilk. or yogurt
    1 egg yolk
    1/8 cup finely diced rose petals
    1/4 cup cooked oatmeal
    Mix together thoroughly

    The buttermilk or yogurt gently exfoliates and cleanses while the egg yolk, honey and oatmeal moisturizes and re-hydrates the skin.

    There are some tips for dry skin-

    Drink at least eight glasses of water a day to keep your skin well, eat
    a high-quality diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

    Wash your face no more than twice a day with a face wash
    for dry skin.

    Take short baths and use warm than hot water. Try to limit
    baths to one per day.

    Add a few teaspoons of olive oil to your bath.
