Question How long should you keep a routine?

I have heared that you should change products after 3 years? Is that correct? Or does anyone know anything about it?
Of course if your skin changes you will adjust a routine (ageing+++).

That is actually a good point. I mean we wont have the same skin health forever and yes we will be getting old. Honestly, I have been using, trying and switching products for quite some time now. Well yes there are some that I have used for a long time and there are new ones that I have tried. Maybe I didn't notice if time had any effect on this switching. maybe it did, I just didn't notice because I was sort of focused on the result the product has given.

Same with my, now I'm trying to stick with my new/old regime.. Someone told me that after 3 years you should change the products. And I was more or less going "whaaaaat?". I can see the point about when skin changes with age and season (here in Norway where it gets super cold at some point! you might end up with dryspots!). But if it's working why change it? I think I'm sticking to mine for the next 2,5 years and then see what happens.. But then again, I'm changing constantly to find what is the best for my skin..

I think you should stick with your routine and change something about it only when you notice it's not being as effective as it was before. You will know when a product isn't worker any longer for you. A little change doesn't hurt every once in a while though, I know I like to change up moisturizers here and there but once I find the one I really love I stick with it until im intrigued by something else

I just need to find the moisturizer that actually works for me.. God! It's a battle.. That is the only thing in my routine that I still have a battle with.. I found something that works, but still gives me shiny nose(not as bad as a lot of others have done!)..

I know Avon makes omse great moisturizers based on your needs, maybe the Anew Rejuvenate would be good since you have problems with your nose being shiny, i know one of my friends has super oily skin and thats the moisturizer she uses now, also, are you applying maybe a mattifying primer before your makeup application? That might help as well.

Don't use much makeup on a daily bases. Now any online store that sell it and ship to Norway (my holy joikaboller I dislike living in a country where everything is limited!)

Ooh yeah thats tough lol well as far as moisturizers go, i cant think of another good one, maybe oil of olay? Also monistat anti chafing gel is good to use as a primer and super inexpensive, if you dont use much makeup you can apply alone to help with oily situations.

I'm never taking oil of olay in to my bathroom ever again.. Strict rules about certain things in my house.

I gotta move out of the deep dark forests of Norway..
