    Unhappy Concealer for under the eyes. Nothing works for me :(

    Hi. I've got brownish dark circles which look horrific on my pale NW15 skin. There's not one concealer I've tried that works. It either makes it look green/blue/grey or doesn't cover it at all. Would layering different products help? Can anyone recommend some products for me? Thanks x

    These were the results with what I tried;
    YSL touche eclat - made it look ashy/grey
    Benefit it stick made it look green
    Laura Mercier Secret camouflage 2 - was ok but dried my skin & made me look old
    Lancome Teint Miracle - made it look blue
    Mac Select Moisturecover - looked grey
    No7 Radiance Concealer - made it look olive green
    Elizabeth Arden - Ceramide Concealer not much difference/way too thin
    Max Factor Mastertouch Concealer fair - awful

    I reccomend a coloured concealer, green for red tones apricot/orange for blue tones and lilac for under eye colours. I personally use lilac then apply apricot lightly ontop then apply a foundation all over. The colours neutralise your skin tones and will look natural. Screen face do a good trio set wich is easy to carry around. I use it in my make up kit for jobs especially bridal. Hope that helps :-D

    When you try any cream concealers for under your eyes, soften/warm it on the back of your hand first. This makes it easier to work with and helps it smooth on instead of looking dry and/or cakey.
    Pop to your local MU counters and ask them to demo some of their products (that way you won't waste time/money buying products that int he end don't work for you). They should know which concealer works best for various discolourations.
    I sometimes use Ben Nye for under my eyes and other times I use Cinema Secrets. They're creams, come in palettes or individually and I use either my finger or a nice soft shadow brush to apply it (very gently).

    I'm suprised you didn't find a MAC shade that works, they have so many. I guess it really does just go to show that what works for might not work for another.

    have you tried the bobbie brown concealer? it comes with a corrector as well of the concealer and the powder to set it, if you go to your local bobbie brown store/counter they will help you with the colouring etc, they are expensive but it is worth it,

    here is the link http://www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com/p...ors&Concealers

    hope this helps.

    What type of lighting are you applying your concealer under? Based on your colour results, it's all in the lighting conditions that you're in.
