Question A higher end liquid foundation dry/acne skin

    Hey everyone!

I have tried different liquid foundations: Laura Mercier, Origins, and Natural FX. I am wanting something with a full coverage because I have red bumps from acne scaring that I would like to cover up with a good concealer too. I know makeup can only do so much. I have a sensitive face and a fair complexion. Also I go to college where the weather is very dry and always windy. I am currently using Origins facial cleanser etc and I like that but their makeup I need a little more coverage.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Hi :-)

Have you tried Cover FX make-up? It's designed and aimed at people with "problematic" skin (ie very dry/very oily/discolouration,etc) so it has great coverage (check out youtube for examples of tattoo coverage and the like using Cover FX products!) and should be okay for your sensitive skin.
See if you can find a store that will demo how to apply it and to see if they have a colour match for you. Also, ask for a small sample to try for a few dys to see if your skinhas any reactions after using it more than once!

Liquids won't cut it for what you're looking for.

I agree with Kirsty here with the Cover F/X line. Also, there is Dermablend and Kryolan's Dermacolor line. All three do exactly the same thing and are considered paramedical grade foundations. Hence they can be used on skins that have been laser resurfaced, going through chemo-therapy, surgeries etc.
